many thanks to both of you for spotlighting this captivating perfume - i have been inspired by it since day one. this series of perfumes is the ONLY complete series i own - with last year's "Oud & Menthe" and the brand-new Harrods exclusive "Oud & Ambre," Mathilde Laurent for Cartier continues to grow this series with intriguing and lovely additions (there are now eight to choose from). expensive?... yes. worthwhile?... i think so.

I e been searching for the ultimate spicy ginger scent! I blind bought Goldfield and Banks Ingenious Ginger, but it’s all sweet and no spice. Not what I’m looking for. Is this the one?!!
I agree that ginger is often not fresh enough. I like some vibrancy, not ginger ale like Ginger Lover (admittedly a different class of frag). This is on my list now with Ganymede and Overture. Cheers!
Man, I wish there were a way to sample this scent. I’m trying to find the perfect zingy ginger fragrance. I can only find the super expensive 2.5oz bottle though.
I'd love to try this collection, distribution is sparse. I think my closest source would be Eugen an hour and half from me 🤣🤣 I think he owns them, but seriously I have no idea where to even get them here in Canada.

I like Cartier's offerings (especially Panthere Noir Absolu - under the radar oud) and Mathilde Laurent is one of my favorite contemporary perfumers but their exclusive collection is just overpriced. No Designer should charge more than Chanel or Dior because they are the top of the food chain.

I believe sichuan pepper has a slight lemony/citrusy aroma. Thats the reason you might be getting the citrusy smell

This one definitely shares a DNA with Hermes Bel Ami and Roja Fetish. I don’t get any oud in this
