Hi there. My wife and I are going here for our 10 year anniversary in June. I've never been abroad before so this and the boat trip video have been very useful. Thank you
Great video I enjoyed it can't wait to see more soon. Your videos are always enjoyable and relaxing. We have great summer weather in Canada. Have a great day looking forward to your next live video. Greetings from Canada 😀
Hope you enjoy it. We were only there for a week and wished we had longer. The transfer from the airport isn't that long either. The walk to town isn't that far but watch out for the uneven surface at night. Also, take some of the boat trips.
Hello my wife and I have a 10 day stay at the Calbis in September..with Jet2. Thank you for the lovely videos . When out we like to pay with our chase card ..and tip in cash.. Are the restaurants good with this, do they refuse card payments.. The reviews for the Calbis are just lovely...oh thank you for the tip regarding cheap moxy repellent.. Take care..
Hi Great video hotel looks nice ,thinking of taking family and 2 grand kids to holiday calbis next summer .What's the situation with sunbeds in a morning hate it when you get to pool at 9-00 and pool is empty but every sunbed has a towel on it Regards terry
Nice and Salty margarita? Wonder if they add salt as do with Turkey's ayran drink, made with yogurt, water and salt? Perhaps, the salt prevents the drinks from going bad in hot weather? A little salt water does keep cut apple and pears from browning.
Love your videos, very funny and informative . Dalyan is our favourite place to visit .Can you advise us on the rooms at the hotel ?Are double rooms on the top floor ? Thanks Marcus
Yes we would. It’s not a luxury hotel by the grounds and pools are nice and not too crowded. Rooms are basic but modern with good air conditioning. Staff are very friendly. We would stay there again.
I’ve always wondered about the attraction of Turkey. Seems very sedate. Not a big fan of mosquitos, but we live in water in Indy and you can get dozens of bites if our after dusk at our house.
Turkey has become very popular since the lockdown has ended. The currency exchange rate has helped as well (getting twice as much as last year). Lots of historical places there but just too hot for exploring, we would go back in the Autumn or Spring for that.
@@flydriveexplore Also looks like the dollar has gained on the euro. Googling shows me that the dollar looks like it’s gained on the pound too. If I could find time in my life to get over there I might. I’m a big Goodwood car event night. I’m wearing my Goodwood ball cap right now
@@Mel_FlyDriveExplore so you did! And I watched it too! The missus is off to Istanbul on Sunday for a week and am anxious about her flying from Heathrow! We need more talkie bits from you !
I've been to Dalyan many times and I'm really disappointed with this video, it certainly doesn't represent how special it is. Also folks, let's see less of your faces and more of the scenery.
Thanks for sharing that with us but I'm sure there are plenty of other videos out there for you. We'll run the next one past you before posting to make sure it comes up to your standards. 😉
@@flydriveexplore if you cannot take the feedback I'm not sure you should be posting. I'm not a negative person at all and on my Trip Advisor reviews I'm super positive and encouraging, however, Dalyan is an amazing place, people consider it to be their paradise, I don't think you do it justice at all. Have a look at the Mick Scarsbrick video, he does it far more justice. Hope you enjoyed Dalyan
@@lynhamlett9919 "How special it is" is very subjective. This was our first time and we said that in the video as we walked into town. This was our first impression of our stay and not a promotional video for the place. But yes, we did like it and would definitely go back.

Brilliant video we can't wait to stay at holiday calbis in September 2nd time for us we definitely recommend it 👍
Have a great time. We would definitely go back too.
When I was in th USAF I was stationed in Turkey for year and a half. It was a very nice country when you got outside the big cities. Very scenic.
It was our first visit. Yes, it was very scenic.

We had no problem with card or cash. Tipping is easy in cash because there is no service on the bill.
Love the videos

It wasn't too bad, some people had their things on the beds early although you weren't meant to. We went about 10 and found sun beds.

I think the salt is just the usual Margareta salt. The drink they do will that that you don't get anywhere else is Pomegranate
juice.
Looks lovely Marcus. Mel likes a salty rim.🙈😂😂
How on earth did Mel keep a straight face when she said "I like a salty rim" 🤣
Oooh errr Misses!!! 🤪
i have to keep a straight face living with him ;)

Our room was a double and was on the first floor. Basic but recently renovated.
