Using "Hide My Email" is a great way to guard your inbox from excess junk mail and spam, but there are things you have to know to get the most out of it.
0:36 Not sure why it sounded like you were telling a joke, then paused for suspense, just to tell the punchline haha. Thanks for the useful video though!
I'm absolutely puzzled why I havn't seen on youtube video discussing how to LOGIN to the serve you just created a anonymous email for as there is NO password related. Kind of blowing my mind. Scouring the internet to find something. I'm assuming you just 'login in with apple' but you're immediately prompted with' Do you want to continue with your apple id *****' You choices are Yes or Cancel. Am I supposed to assume 'yes' is just going to associate my appleid with the website or app i am on and in-between browser requests replace my Apple ID with the anonymous email I created before?
It seems a little confusing because there’s some complex stuff going on. Try checking out this link from Apple. It should make things clearer: support.apple.com/guide/iphone/create-and-manage-hide-my-email-addresses-iphcb02e76f7/ios
I rec'd an email today that used my hide my email address-when I hit the reply it put the hide my email address in the from field and not my true email. That's better!
Excellent. I think you can force it to choose either way from the “from” drop down but some times it remembers your choice and puts it in automatically.
If you’re talking about your own proxy rather than the Apple one, I think you can but you may have to use another app. I think Gmail app can, but don’t quote me on that.
This was explained in a very clear manner thank you
So glad it was useful!
Thank you for this! Happy that Apple put this feature out! This'll save my email from turning into spammy trash.
Glad I could help!

I’m so glad you found it useful!
Great info, looking forward to the feature being two way

Useful information as usual.
Glad you think so!

Where do we read messages recieved to the private mail.
They should automatically forward to the account associated with you Apple ID.
So there is absolutely no way to send an email from a proxy email?

@@Desklord No no no, I meant the Apple one obviously, since this is what the viceo is about no?
