- It's amazing, I can't wait with posting this. Today was the very first time in my life I've heard an orangutan make a long call. It was a goosebump moment! Hope you'll enjoy seeing Kevin and Sandy!

Love and friendship at its best. The intelligence of primates amazes me and with all of the programs I've watched Orangutans, to me, seem to be the smartest. Liekes you are very talented, keep the videos coming as soon as you are allowed. In the meantime, drawing on your earlier work is great.

It's indeed so sweet and wonderful. Sandy is a lovely lady and Kevin a lovely guy. They do mate but they've never had a baby together. In Apenheul they switch with the orangs. They can choose who wants to sit with who. Orangutans are nog likely to be life long partners. But Kevin and Sandy do seem to like each other a lot, so we see them together a lot. Kevin and Sandy look like they really enjoy each other's company. Have they lived together for a long time? I am not familiar with them.
They definitely do. In Apenheul they switch sometimes with who wants to sit with who. But Kevin and Sandy are already for a long time a good couple. Kevin came to Apenheul in 2013. He has a difficult past but he has a wonderful life in Apenheul! Sandy is in Apenheul since 1999. She is also the mum of Samboja, so sometimes she's with her daughter Samboja and granddaughter Indah.

Lovely couple
This shows us there is even a difference in each Orangutans. We have seen the harsh brutal unwanted too coming together when it seems the female would do anything to get away to a intimate moment like this. Those who think that animals have no personalities are missing deep things of the Great Ape world.
