This is a great video! You saved me from going to purchase another vacuum cleaner. After taking the bottom attachment apart from my Craftsman, it was clogged up with so much lint. I cleaned all that trash out by using a wire hanger to push out the clogged up lint found in the bottom plastic tubing. And now my Craftsman vacuum is running perfectly!
Thank you ❤ I'm done fixing my vacuum thank you for the tutorial love lots 💗💗
It is actually belt driven! They make parts for it but they're hard to find and not sold by Black& Decker
Is there a way to remove the black thing in the end? Mine won't spin anymore 😢
Which black thing?
@@toolinhand thank you for replying! I was referring to the black thing at the end of the roller. But it's fine now, I managed to remove it by hammering it out. After removing it, I found out the bearing inside had a bunch of hair stuck in it. Once I cleaned it up, it was good as new :D
Thank you
Have you ever pulled the head apart ... found six screws , is there two more
No, not yet
Hi! On the end of mine on the square side, it stopped spinning. It seems to be jammed. What would you suggest to loosen it so that it spins again?
The cover with a square should pop right off. There's a bearing underneath. See if anything is impeding the movement of the bearing.
I thought this with mine but cleaned it but now I’m thinking it’s the other side should that show movement as I feel that side isn’t what could this be
@@toolinhand there's nothing stuck in it just burn hair that burned into the plastic, and then I'll have to buy a replacement each time. What should i do?
And the dust that its capture in there , can we wash it ? 😁
You can get it out
thank you 😊
Thank you!😊
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
Mine doesnt appear to have the black end on one side and wont go back in... Is it likely that that has just fallen off at some point, or a different design maybe? Otherwise it currently sits too loose
I would guess it fell off.
@@toolinhandor obliterated like mine, I left link where a cheap plunger key chain can be inserted to clutch and respin so motor can catch other side again ruclips.net/video/1yrioeCnC5w/видео.html
How am i supposed to clean the little wheels at the front that help the stick vacuum to sweep??
A small screwdriver can help you pop them out, so you can clean them
@@toolinhand thanks, i did! Super easy
how to replace the little rubber rollers on the outside of the unit
You an just pop them out with a small screwdriver
Have the same, and still try to figuring how to remove the roll, mine seems to be stuck while I pull the little part with the arrows... Any advices?
Gently pry it up with a screwdriver
@@toolinhand Thank you it worked! Good advice! Many thanks for the video you made it helps! The only thing is that mine was a bit tighten, but indeed the screw helped me!
TOTALLY USELESS!! I need to know how to totally take the power head apart!!
