For real. Jimmy's that one kid who's desperately trying to fit in, belong and be appreciated for who he is. It's obvious he doesn't have any real life friends as he rarely ever gets out and is always inside playing videogames, so having Franklin inviting him to hang out is really special for him, which is why in every single conversation he has, he calls Franklin his brother. As someone who was socially awkward as a kid, struggled to make real friends and was constantly bullied and cast out from the crowd, I resonated with Jimmy a lot, which I'll probably never admit to someone's face lol. Having a friend like Franklin is a blessing, really. Someone who's patient with you, actually considers you a friend and also makes sure to keep you grounded and in check so that you don't end up oversharing
Ya gotta think, aside from dealing and buying small amounts of drugs, Jimmy doesnt leave his room. Most of the time, if he’s home, and you’re Michael, the door is shut, and you can hear him playing video games. Hes someone who is chronically online, has no real friends, just customers from his old high school class, and Franklin, the actual gangster raised on the streets, is everything Jimmy wishes he was. Strong, confident, independent, attractive, charismatic, and can’t understand that without sacrificing his luxurious way of living, he could never even come close to truly understanding Frank. Jimmy doesnt want to be a gangster. Jimmy wants to be cool, and he wants friends and approval from people, more than anything. Anytime he’s criticized, he gets defensive, harsh, and emotional. Its because he has no self-confidence, and no support system. His own dad is okay with just letting him stay in his room (except for Daddy’s Little Girl where they go to the beach), and Jimmy and Michael barely know each other, they even say so. I think deep down, Jimmy is a guy with some arrested development, misguided by the idea that being a gangster will make you cool and get you lots of friends. He holds on to this idea, because the other option, the reality, is that he just needs to get a job and go outside more. He expresses how he hates doing work, so I can assume he’s barely done it. If he was given a job by Franklin throughout the story that would be an interesting situation, like hacking, because it would actually give Jimmy something to do, but then again its Michael’s kid. R.i.p Grove Street families
wait...
What year did San Andress took place?
@@Mangaka_Library it’s part of the 3d universe gta 5 is the hd universe
@@Mangaka_Library 1992
@@gerardwolf8507 so damn.. that must've been... 21 years after the Event's
wonder where CJ and the others are...
@@Mangaka_Library idk man, rockstar separate the universe between 3D and HD universe, but some references in GTA Online makes the wall between the universe blurred
Hmmm.. Very interresting. Grove Street was "Grove Street Families", their color was green. Franklin is green and in "Families". I think GSF had to change since the 90's, since they don't own Grove Street anymore - now Ballas Territory. I wonder what happened after GTA:SA, but before GTA 5.
not the same universe
I don't subscribe to that 3D vs HD universe bs. It should all be the same.
@@mrscruffles801 Yeah well it ain't the same universe with the exception of some characters.
ignoring the universes shit, everybody probably just moved on after GTA:SA, CJ and the others just couldnt be bothered with gangster life no more
@@mrscruffles801 It really should I agree, but it's not unfortunately
6:45 right when I'm hitting the bong. 😂😂
13:55 jimmy is a twitter stand i knew it
Man franklin is always a chill dude
1:55 Underrated franklin quote
Franklin n jimmy in irl had to have had mad fun just filming the parts from this video🤣🤣🤣
The conversations they have tbh seem realistic and makes you reflect on the life we live, like relatable
I honestly think if Franklin did give Jimmy Lamar's number Lamar would have tried to get Jimmy into crime
I don't think he would
Thanks for providing time stamps
I love how Jimmy seems like that younger brother that you don’t talk to that often
I love how Justin Pullin ♥ brother-in-law
Luis Luciano
Man, that really fits on how my relationship with my brother is, I don't hate him or anything, but he's kinda dumb, but I understand, I probably was the same at his age, and i'm still stupid
Makes me real sad to think that Grove street essentially died out or was absorbed by the families since CJ took control right? or was eventually taken over by the Ballas
But the gang itself was the families, grove street was just CJ's set (well they were all one gang the grove street families but by the time of San Andreas the gang became just the families)
GTA 5 is in another universe. CJ never existed in gta 5
@@chechanrevolution992 it's implied a version of him exists in the HD universe, but the events played out way different than what we saw in SA. I wonder how different if that's the case.
@@shadowmaster452 Nothing changed, everything that happened in SA also happened in GTA V, it was confirmed in the newest Franklin and Lamar mission, specifically, the one were you burn some drugs and Franklin makes a reference to what CJ did back in 92 with The Truth
@@shadowmaster452 from Claude to god damn Niko it’s all the same universe g
I fw how the convos progressively got better/ they started connecting more
i was just as shocked as you are when i found out that jimmy was canonically 20 in 2013
Honestly jimmy seems like he coulda been such a sweet kid, still is, but that family aint exactly stable role models like he said lol
I neva hung out wit' Jimmy as Franklin, but this video proves why I wouldn't.
Jimmy reminds me of the kid megamind turned into a superhero
6:43 I should leave you right here….. 🎉🎉🎉
Me and Franklin are in common because my dad hit my mom while she was pregnant then ran away
Cool
Nice story bro, gimme your money and gtfo

poor jimmy, a parentless figure that needs to fit in some place, i kinda see myself reflexed in this character.
I feel like Franklin is trying to Teach Jimmy it isn't safe being a Gangster, and Franklin's story explains that, he had a terrible father, idk 'bout his mother, his Grandmother left him the house, and mostly grew up separately from gangs, he eventually got into gangs with Lamar but still separate from the gangs in his own way, he worked and dreamed of leaving the Gangs behind, especially since his Aunt basically stole his house.. Importantly he was Self aware of what the gangs were doing, he wasn't heartless like some others who joked about killing others, or tried killing people as soon as they walk out their door, Hell! Even take Gangsters Paradise for an example about how Gangbanging doesn't even get you anywhere but deeper into hell.
Tbh Franklin Best Role Model. 👌
Jimmy is the average san andreas player when he meets a black guy lmao
Jimmy is just like kids in my neighborhood trying to be Gangster what my generation in my neighborhood do back early 2000 😂😂
Jimmy would be the type of guy to be an admin in a gta v rp server
That’s an insult to Jimmy.
Does the 3D and HD universes exists? Yes.
Do they necessarily have different timelines and the events of the 3D universe didn't happened in the HD one? *No.*
There's much more evidence that EVERYTHING that happened in SA still happened in V, with different locations than everything being completely different.
3D HD pfft, dimensions don't matter D-dog
Yeah the universe thing is just so they can update the world maps
@@user-dnf83n0s8sg9uThis 3d and hd universe thing was created so the fans would stfu
But unfortunately they didn't
I don't know how Franklin could ever hang out with Jimmy, lord knows, I could never. This is patience, shows he's chill though
I completely lost my shit on the ''Lemme ask you something F-dog''
Franklin is probably GTA’s most mentally stable protagonist
😂😂😂 when i first heard jimmy talking slang when he was with Franklin i was wondering why he talking like that and was like "is this guy only talking in slang just because franklin black? Thats kinda racist" but I was just laughing at the whole thing and sudden change in his vocab 😂 nah I know jimmy aint like that
jimmy is so adorable i love him
Franklin is a good kid
the visual of jimmy hanging onto franklins waist while on the motorbike is hilarious
It’s weird that Jimmy and Franklin sound like their normal selves when they are drunk.
Props to Franklin for putting up with Jimmy for 5 seconds.
ngl this video makes me think about Franklin and Jimmy's relationship
10:50 Franklin is speaking fucking truth here, the amount of times I've had people call me a homie or a gangster just because I like rap music is fucking astounding.
5:57 Me every time Jimmy is on screen
Big J would later be known as..... Jack Harlow 😂😂
😂
And then Uncle later on, talking about lumbago
its wierd how jimmy hasn't matured in GTAO but franklin its now 30s, married and has 2 kids and a business
9:47 Jimmy just sweeps the rug in Online inside the arcade 😬😶🌫️
I’m just waiting to see Micheals old ass.
When this game first released, I was scared I was gonna grow up to be like Jimmy. I am proud to say that I did not grow up to be Jimmy.
Fortunately, I didn't grow up self-entitled, dumb, and 100% insecure and irresponsible like Jimmy did but I have made dumb financial and life choices way too early into my adulthood and am currently stuck with my parents but hope to move out soon.
