Thryburgh Country Park - plein air gouache

After a lovely sunny walk around this boating lake the pup and I found a shaded bench and got down to it.
A lovely bright farm field in the background and the sun shimmering on the water made for an idyllic place for a loooong paint - turns out I was sat here for over an hour!
