Winning awards is not what real artists perform for. Like Bruno said, the response Silk Sonic got from Leave the Door Open was everything. The rest was just icing on the cake.

Regarding the grammys, I agree with Pops. They know how good they're and Bruno is about the work not the drama.
He is always a class act. Bruno often says that he wants his music to do the talking for him. And he has proven that time and time again. Although we're disappointed, we have to trust their process and rational for pulling out.

It’s good about the Grammys, Bruno’s got us, he’s grateful but it’s about the music not the trophies. No wasted time or brain space on fitting the Grammys in gives him more time to create new music and continue putting together our next favourite album/albums. You’ll have to get Pops to the lives. But I figure the way we raised our daughters, when they here some of the new music they’re smart in how they persevere it and react to it. Adele’s album is great but nothing beats Silk Sonic.

I hear your dad's point about them leaving the Grammys open for new, younger artists EXCEPT the people they would be taking the Grammys away from are not "new, young" artists.
