Nah, none of these people were in on it. The neighbor didn't want to be bothered and get involved, which is lame beyond. The insurance company is irresponsible and incompetant. I don't know about the police, but at least they were arrested

I have been following you for years and I did notice you were so different and distant the last year or so, now I know why. I cried watching this video because you are always so vulnerable and real that we feel your emotions when you talk and I felt all the emotions you felt . But I also know you will fully get over this because you are much stronger than you think and say, you really are. You are doing so much to try to get to the bottom of everything that went wrong and at the same time you never mention revenge in the same soulless way they treated your home, you and your people. You are doing it for your own process but also for the good of everybody this could happen to. That is the biggest sign of strength, empathy and love a human can have, in my honest opinion. I’m so sorry this happened and so many systems failed you in your time of need. That’s just horrific. The response time is insane! Police took half a day to get to your apartment and allowed robbers to go back many times and even threaten your assistant. What an insanely horrible experience in Paris, Tamara’s robbery, yours…so scary.

This is when jealousy turns into envy and a false sense of entitlement plus a weak law enforcement, it makes successful hardworking people an easy target. The way these burglars knew how to enter and what to take, and the way they aggressively destroyed everything shows that they are a group of haters who want to inflict psychological pain into their “luxurious” victims. Please know that darkness is everywhere that doesn’t mean you should allow them to take away your sense of safety. I hope you feel safe through the next chapter of your life ❤️

I'm 10 min into the video and I'm not an emotional person but literally tears streaming down my face. The beginning of the video I felt such anger that the police and security company, heck even the neighbors failed you but the fear of your assistant being there and then having the audacity to go back I just can't even imagine. Dear Xenia, I'm so sorry for everything you've been through. We had once a small robbery at my parents home, I lived with them at the time and I remember the feeling like it was yesterday. I couldn't get over it for months, I used to look over my shoulders all the time.. It's really a mix of complicated emotions and I can't imagine how you felt as your experience is much worse. Life is so precious, and these criminals can only take from others from what is not rightly theirs!!! Unbelievable - the police, who should be protecting citizens could take so long to react....sounds like some kind of corrupt collusion to me......!!! Have had almost same experience, the robbers took even parfumes and creams from the bathroom .. the security company let them stay in the flat for 2 hours… i can tell u, that one day all ur nightmares will disappear.. it happens to me 20 years ago, but till now I’m dreaming that robbery come and took everything.. but it is not traumatizing anymore like before. So sorry, but Paris has been over for me for a while. Actually for years. No where is truly safe. My security company in America three times had an agent at my house. Prowling and later found out they were a robbery ring with connections to the company. The last time we met them with a shot gun! We had this all on camera. Two years later the company was bankrupt and police shut them down. P.S. we sold our forever home and live in a guarded area. We still are not totally safe. ❤

I’m so sorry this happened to you 😞💔 safety is so foundational and primal to our being. It is completely terrifying when that feeling of safety is ruptured. I can recommend an enterprise-level security system called Verkada, typically it is for large organizations but it is very good. There are Person of Interest alerts and most importantly, integrated alarms and professional monitoring with the camera. Often police will not come unless they have evidence in their hands of the crime, so the professional monitoring agent will call and send live footage to the police on your behalf to ensure priority police response. I applaud you for your bravery and giving yourself the space to heal, I know it will take time but it is a good sign you can look at people and still see the good in them.

My family member was just robbed on the streets in Paris with a weapon, Paris has become such an unsafe place and police is very dismissive. Please be careful, Paris is not the place to live anymore :(

This is so incredibly traumatic. My mom’s jewelry store got robbed and I’ll never forget how awful it was, it’s so violating and scary. I’m soo sorry you went through this. Glad you are safe but mentally this is probably so hard to go through 😢

This is when jealousy turns into envy and a false sense of entitlement plus a weak law enforcement, it makes successful hardworking people an easy target.
The way these burglars knew how to enter and what to take, and the way they aggressively destroyed everything shows that they are a group of haters who want to inflict psychological pain into their “luxurious” victims.
Please know that darkness is everywhere that doesn’t mean you should allow them to take away your sense of safety.

I'm 10 min into the video and I'm not an emotional person but literally tears streaming down my face. The beginning of the video I felt such anger that the police and security company, heck even the neighbors failed you but the fear of your assistant being there and then having the audacity to go back I just can't even imagine. I'm from Canada and my dream was to visit Paris but in the last 2 years seeing my fave influencers posting robberies is terrifying. I'm so so so sorry this happened to you.

Dear Xenia, I'm so sorry for everything you've been through. We had once a small robbery at my parents home, I lived with them at the time and I remember the feeling like it was yesterday. I couldn't get over it for months, I used to look over my shoulders all the time.. It's really a mix of complicated emotions and I can't imagine how you felt as your experience is much worse. I can only think how fortunate you are, not having been in your apartment by yourself, but so unfortunate your assistant had to face these horrific monsters.......for what? A handbag, jewellery? Life is so precious, and these criminals can only take from others from what is not rightly theirs!!! Unbelievable - the police, who should be protecting citizens could take so long to react....sounds like some kind of corrupt collusion to me......!!! Have had almost same experience, the robbers took even parfumes and creams from the bathroom .. the security company let them stay in the flat for 2 hours… i can tell u, that one day all ur nightmares will disappear.. it happens to me 20 years ago, but till now I’m dreaming that robbery come and took everything.. but it is not traumatizing anymore like before. So sorry, but Paris has been over for me for a while. Actually for years. No where is truly safe. My security company in America three times had an agent at my house. Prowling and later found out they were a robbery ring with connections to the company. The last time we met them with a shot gun! We had this all on camera. Two years later the company was bankrupt and police shut them down. P.S. we sold our forever home and live in a guarded area. We still are not totally safe. ❤

I’m so sorry this happened to you 😞💔 safety is so foundational and primal to our being. It is completely terrifying when that feeling of safety is ruptured.
I can recommend an enterprise-level security system called Verkada, typically it is for large organizations but it is very good. There are Person of Interest alerts and most importantly, integrated alarms and professional monitoring with the camera. Often police will not come unless they have evidence in their hands of the crime, so the professional monitoring agent will call and send live footage to the police on your behalf to ensure priority police response.
I applaud you for your bravery and giving yourself the space to heal, I know it will take time but it is a good sign you can look at people and still see the good in them.

i got robbed twice on same day in Paris few years ago. Paris has all these criminals from all over the world just waiting for next victim. I never returned to Paris .

Such a terrible experience for both you and your assistant. The guilt and shame shouldn't be yours but should reside with the horrific sub-humans who broke into your home and attacked your assistant.
