I'm flipfloppin around on the Cody tbh, mainly because of space, and I'd have to rebuy the Chrome Clone (and also get chrome reg trooper and death trooper to complete that line 😅). Those ARE the droids I am looking for (sorry, I couldn't resist). I'd probably pose the protocol droid with regular hands, rather than in Edward Scissor-hands mode. Already ordered the astromech - couldn't find any mention of lights on either the Hot Toys or Sideshow websites. If the price is right, I might pick up the stormie. The two Sith dudes look great, but will probably pass...something for my British friend Chris to give me a hard time about. 🤣 Great "take a look at" video, Mr. Collectibles.

Gutted 0-0-0 is limited, with how popular hot toys star wars collecting is, I've got no chance of getting that. Have to say, the storm trooper is really appealing because the only one I have is the Mando storm trooper commander and I removed the pouldren to make him look like a regular storm trooper. Really like this style of video dude, you should do more like this, it feels fun to get excited about this stuff as a community through videos like this. Thanks for taking the time to make video 👍🏻
Yeah the limitedness of this one sucks! I mean they're all limited but to specify it just means resellers will up the price, so it's collectors that ultimately lose out unfortunately! I'd recommend the trooper, it's a great figure and is the ROTJ look, so is subtley different to your Mando version (so definitely needs to be purchased because it's a variant - (if you needed any extra excuse to get it 😅)). And many thanks for your kind words about this style of video! I actually quite enjoyed running thru these figures but wasn't sure if everyone else would enjoy it! 😬😅

Haha we will see about the trooper, it's slim pickings for space now and if it comes to a trooper or a main character he may loose. Really hyped for Revan and Starkiller and of course the rerelease of the stormtrooper! Wasn’t in the game for that when it originally came out so will finally be picking up a trooper now haha

Yeah the display looks exactly the same. Still battery powered and a naff slidey piece of cardboard at the back to hide the battery compartment 😅 great set tho for sure!

As someone who never really delved into the comics or games, to mine and my wallet's relief, I'm happy to say I'm not actually all that fussed about most of these releases! Although they are undoubtedly cool, (especially that Darth Revan). But I tell you what, I was proper stoked to see that re-issue of the Death Star environment set! I've been perilously close to buying a 2nd hand one for over £300 on e-Bay this past week, (and in all honesty, probably would've caved by the weekend!), but after watching this, I've just pre-ordered a brand spanking new one for *A LOT* cheaper! 😃👍 Seriously, mate, thanks for this video! 💯🙌
Congrats on the Stormie! The price of the original had gone a bit crazy on the secondary market hadn’t it! So glad you get to pick one up for a reasonable price, and yeah new is *always* better than second hand!! 😃👍🏻

An awesome backdrop that a lot of figures would look great in front of! The re-issue has effectively saved me at least £80 but the downside is I may have to wait until September for it to start shipping. Also, do you think they've tweaked the Stormtrooper's helmet? I've always really liked the look of the RoTJ Stormie, but it looks slightly improved in these photos.. Or maybe it's just the cool photography? (That shot at 12:14 is quality!)

I know you and collectors who've been in the hobby a long time are a bit unhappy about certain types of release that they feel are something too similar to what they bought before, like the stormtrooper. However, as someone who wasn't collecting when the stormtrooper was first available I can't tell you how excited and aboslutely thrilled I am that I'll finally get the chance to own one. As for Revan, starkiller and the droids, I am pleased for those who collect that kind line. I want every collector to get what they want and be happy. Are they something I'll get? No, but I fully support their production for collectors who will be thrilled for them.
Not necessarily unhappy... "mildly disappointed" maybe? Just seems like they could announce new stuff (e.g. anything and everything from Jabba's Palace!) rather than churn out the same trooper again. But like I said in the video it's a good opportunity to pick it up if you missed it first time round, so I'm glad this one works out for you mate! It's a great figure and obviously close to my heart too with it being OT 👍🏻 Thanks for checking out the vid 👊🏻
That *is* Starkiller from the games. Both games have a DLC wich follows Starkiller after the darkside ending from the first game where he killed Vader and took his place.

Personally it’s not something I’ll be getting. I think it would look really cool if you have the whole “chrome version” line of figures but personally I just prefer the screen accurate stuff 👊🏻

Congrats on getting your pre-orders locked in 👍🏻 As for the trooper, I'd always go for an Original Trilogy release, BUT the Mando Stormtrooper has the ANH / Rogue One style helmet design whereas this new announcement is based off the subtley different Return of the Jedi helmet. So will come down to your design preference at the end of the day. They're both great though! 👍🏻
I nearly wet myself when I saw Starkiller and Revan and preordered them straight away without even really looking at them in detail😅😅😅 I’d only just 3d printed a Starkiller set of armor in 1/6 scale! Typical!😂
I think we hoped for years that they would delve into these Legends characters didn't we, and then they announce them and it blows all our minds!! 😃🤯 Shame about the armour you've printed! Maybe you could do a variant or some mega battle-damage or something 👊🏻

I’ve got the Darth Vader comic books where these droids were introduced. It’s a pretty good story. However no interest in getting them. Starkiller should of had a Sam Witwer headsculpt. Revan is tempting, but I really need to stop branching out from the prequels and original trilogy.
I think I've read it at some point? Did they kill loads of scientists at one point or something? But yeah I will definitely revisit the comic books if I get these. Agreed re: the Witwer sculpt, would have liked a 2 pack of: sculpt with original outfit and this Dark Lord armour figure! It’s quite weird that hot toys make 0-0-0 a limited release and bt-1 a normal release will you still get bt-1 if you can’t get 0-0-0?
It's a very odd decision. Collectors will lose out at the end of the day so can't see any point to it. If I can't get 0-0-0 then I won't get BT-1!

Chrome Commander Cody is a nonsense. Original looks cooler and the amazing details pop. This just look like a metal statue

Yes!! Seems a fairly straightforward figure tbh. Maybe it's the command console that is tricky to design along with the packaging etc.
