Very F1 trickery here! It looks amazing. I want see the strength of the seat tube design as the seat tube does not go too deep into the frame. I wonder if they will decrease their rider max weight limit.
Trek continue to lead the world in innovation. Congrats to them for having the kahunas to do so.... Their isospeed decoupling of seat and top tube was a real improvement in comfort, not a gimmick. Their isoflow design looks like it may also add spring to the saddle, as well as whatever aero gain the marketing dept comes up with.

4:44 tubeless will squirm / be dangerous way slower than a punctured clincher let alone a clincher / tub blowout! if at all. (I have been running road tubeless for over a decade). Where are you getting this from or ever seen this happen? it sounds like the disc brakes that were slicing riders into shreds everywhere that… oh year never happened!
It looks awesome! The only question is, with the seat tube so short, how much adjustment there is. I suppose you could offer a range of lengths to cover it.
I think they have built an aerofoil into that seat tube hole to make it the first ever ground-effect bicycle LOL! Saw that stem in action on bikes in the Dauphine. Looked kinda funky.
Trek has been featuring a new bike in a couple of races now. I wonder if we will see the new Emonda version used during TDF? They got a new Domane on Paris Roubaix. Now new Madone on Dauphene.
The emonda just recently had a redesign so i highly doubt they'll redesign it again so quickly, and i also have one so they better not redesign it so fast😂

The lower part of the seattube, could follow the curviture of the rear wheel, and meet the seat stays lower, would shield the rear wheel better, and probably less frontal area as well. The sharp edge looks like a stress rasier, might be better if the upper part of the seat tube is put more forward, where the seatstays meets with the top tube, and has more angle of attack there, same leverage, but but not so sharp edge.
Different (radical) design just for the sake of different design? I see more disadvantages to the new "iso-nonsense" then there are possible real advantages. First of all, the moulding process of the area will be immensely more complicated, and thus more prone to errors. Only advantage is actually it "being different". But there were tons of bikes in the past that also tried to be radically different. However, I find the rest of the bike pretty neat.
hope they won't have issues with the frame cracking since the angles are quite sharp ... but the cervelo cockpit seems to work. it looks fucking amazing tho
@@edrcozonoking they did, but there is a reason for real world testing. for example there have been many cases of cockpits breaking during sprints in pro races. since sometimes forces are hard to simulate
Will it be (is it?) limited to riders up to 80kg or something like that, with that small part under the seat post? Will it break under the rider over 100kg? They probably will have a lower weight limit for it which sux!
It looks like it's designed for compliance. Its basically a pair od stacked leaf springs. Easier to tune for different sizes and riders. You could even tune the manufacture for different weights of riders in the same size. I am guessing they have manufactured the seat tube and top tube join as one continuous piece to strengthen that joint. Overall smart.
I've loved the Madone, I had a 2011 Project 1, sadly wrecked by an car.... It's replacement is the 2017..... Love it! Not really liking this one though.
