Great to see iconic Rock Star/Broadway Veteran REX SMITH on KTLA 5 this morning! What a talented and engaging gentleman he is. I saw him play the memorable role of Billy Mack in "Love, Actually Live" and he was simply fantastic!!!

Rex Smith will always be able to sing, dance, act......DELIVER a performance! Some people just have "it". They can't NOT deliver.
And he'll always look great! Odd that Madonna and Motley Crew and others from the 80s look a mess- No shade.
Prince aged like Rex (except for the pain and meds from years of dancing in heeled boots). I think its about being a performer- ARTIST, as opposed to trying to be a Mega star on the Cover of every magazine....all the time.
I nearly died when he went out on stage (nearly) naked! Gotta give the man props for still being in decent shape!
He seems a bit scattershot when he's chatting about the past - makes me wonder if his brain gets ahead of his mouth sometimes. I don't mean that in a bad way, I do the same thing sometimes when I'm excited about something and when I'm talking about subject X, suddenly the conversation veers towards subject Y. I love the fact Rex can fly a bi-plane! Not merely content with flying a Piper or a Cessna, he flies those graceful crates!! From what I've read about what he's done (and the many skills he's acquired over the years), he's lived enough for 3 lifetimes!

He deserves a bigger audience. Rex’s good looks for years seemed to almost compete with his prodigious talent. He can sing! I wish him all the best and hope I can see him perform sometime. He gives a lot to the audience. He made teen girls swoon when I was eight, but I have recently (re)discovered him. He is charming. Really seems an awesome person.
I would've of loved to see Rex's performance in "Love Actually"...;)
