Microscopically, it shows a "string of pearls" appearance. I remember it as PEARLYarteritis nodosa. Finished pathology over a year ago, and I can still recall it 😩
Thanks! Would you recommend an increase of glutathione for the symptoms described? I know a supplement that increases the levels (Immunocal) and I would like to know if it can be good and helpful for this too. Thank you so much!
@@beto7563 Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCAs) are antibodies directed against certain pro- teins in the cytoplasm of neutrophils. The cytoplasmic (c) ANCA refers to the diffuse staining pattern observed when serum antibodies bind to indicator neutrophils; it is seen in >90% of patients with Wegener granulomatosis. Perinuclear (p) ANCA refers to a localized staining pattern observed on the indicator neutrophils, the major target of these antibodies being the enzyme myeloperoxidase; it is found in PAN and Churg-Strauss but is a nonspecific test. From Kaplan
abdullah laradhi thank you but ANCa indicates small vessel involvement,i searched it on google Unlike some other vasculitides (eg, microscopic polyarteritis, granulomatosis with polyangiitis [Wegener's]), polyarteritis nodosa is not associated with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) [3]. (See "Overview of and approach to the vasculitides in adults".) Patients typically present with systemic symptoms.

Now,I'm suffer this PAN and I'm from Myanmar .
How to care myself.
Plzs.I wanna your suggestion.
How are you now?
YESS how are you
thanx
My dad died of this, he was 33 i hope it's not hereditary!!!
There’s only a handful of cases where family members have been diagnosed with PAN. It may be hereditary but it’s unlikely you’ll have it
Isn't PAN positive for p ANCA?
abdullah laradhi ,no it is only associated with small vessels diseases.
