So refreshing to see a young person bringing life back into older items. Fifty years ago I would watch my Mom work hard to refinish walnut and maple pieces. Sustainability back then many times was a result of necessity. Many middle class families could not afford to simply go out and buy something new. Refinishing. Mending. Church rummage sales. All of this made for a more resourceful and creative time. Thank you for this encouraging video. The pieces look great!
I have a patio set that I’ve had for 20 years. Every 5 or 7 years I repaint it and it looks just like new. It saves me so much money from not having to buy new patio furniture.
Very beautiful transformation, you now have a personalized unique dining set that suits your space. Furniture restoration certainly requires patience and love and both are evident in the final pieces. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed this video post.
It’s beautiful!
I was shocked when you said they were not a matching set!
So inspiring to see your intentionality and care for these objects! I really resonate with and love your reverence for the material world ❤️
I'm obsessed with that midcentury look! I actually purchased one because I couldn't find a used one that was in a decent condition but oh my goodness, you did such an incredible job!! It looks amazing!!! Thank you for sharing!
It’s beautiful Christine!! Well done!
I've always been curious about that dining set and it's very surprising to know that this has been a side passion project that took time and I'm all here for it. Thank you for sharing this. Beautiful!
Beautiful table and chairs! You really worked long and hard on these pieces and it has paid off.

wow! I really like the finishing result tone. From what ive seen in your videos, it suits your home!
Thank you! I originally thought it would be a lighter tone, but I've grown to love how warm and worn it is (:
Truly beautiful work! Love the care, consciousness and thoughts that you put into things you have. I learn a lot from you. Thank you x

Hi If you happen to refinish other furniture or frames I would love to see. Recently purchased pre loved frames in the hopes of refinishing them and using them for new posters.
Hi! I know this may seem out of place, but I wanted to make sure to communicate this to you. I ordered a pack of your cookies and they were DELICIOUS! And not to drag down any other cookie companies, but I tried another up-and-coming popular brand and I didn't find them as good as yours. This experience literally made me want to write to you! So, thank you for your creations and keep up the yummy good work!🍪🍪🍪
Aw thank you Danielle!!
