Seems like tequila would be the target alcohol for this. Vodka is an interesting choice, but it would certainly lend itself to not affecting the taste of the fruits since vodka has nearly no flavor.
I studied Bartending and did a little Bartending when I did my OJT(On the Job Training) at a hotel, and I can honestly say, Ryan's enthusiasm is what I felt when I was behind the bar, even though I was just there for 2 days 😅

Bit of advice from a non-bartender but watched enough Vlad SlickBartender: You can rim the glass with lemon or lime juice by hand, so you don't have to get the rimming thing. You can also use a cocktail foamer as a replacement for egg whites if i had the money i'd try that

@@SasukeUchiha-tc9xx actually Triple Sec has on average 5-10% less ABV than vodka. Doesn't seem like much, but it can drastically change the way a cocktail drinks. It's like using 100+ proof spirits in a drink that you usually use the standard 80 proof. You will know the difference.

Agave nectar. It's a sweetener alternative to normal sugar. It's also made from the same kind of plant as tequila

Nothing about this is a margarita. The whole point is to support the flavor of the tequila or mezcal. The only correct ingredient is the lime juice.

I checked the comments to see if this was stated before making the comment, but a margarita requires tequila or mezcal and NOT vodka.
He did use 1800 silver tequila in it.
He made the infusion with Vodka and then made a margarita with said infusion in place of the triple sec. Still used tequila.
