U'll Feel hotter but once u feel cozy nd room temp, u know the flu is almost over. Feel better 🙏🏾!
🚨UPDATE!!!🚨 *Pineapple Tequila was an 8.5/10* but I must have cut it prior to the final edit. It was the perfect amount of sweet and still complimented the tequila well. Only downside were the small fibers that stayed around in the shot, and a slight pepper taste. Pepper taste could also be part of the sickness because I swear I drank gallons of Gatorade and they all tasted like pepper.
Viruses can cause weird taste and after taste (including Covid variations) Caused by inflammation of the tongue 👅 Metallic tastes and after tastes can be caused by liver issues. Hope you feel better but damn dude, you need to recover 😂
It's not a recipe for one cure per se, but a recommended arsenal for your recovery. First, when you are sick, your body needs more hydration, nutrients and electrolytes. The best way to achieve this is with coconut water. Drink at room temperature for faster absorption. Then, follow up with hot ginger/honey tea. Take zinc supplements and gargle with warm saltwater. Make sure you're eating hearty and nutritious food so that your body has the energy to fight everything off.
That's a nice remedy. I usually take a lot of zinc and vitamin C with lots of fluid. I'll also juice a lemon, mince up some ginger and garlic cloves, and mix everything together with a scoop of cayenne pepper and honey, dilute it down 1 to 1 with warm water and choke it all down. I'll have to try adding coconut water to my arsenal.
I used to eat those dehydrated salted plums as a kid all the time, they have ones covered in chili powder also. My aunt would leave plums among other fruits soaking in homemade Mezcal for years back in Mexico .
Dragon juice for the flu. Juice 1 lemon, equal amount juiced ginger, half the amount of juiced turmeric and then add ground pepper. drink about 4-6 ounces worth. Its a little rough on the stomach so i recommend a piece of bread of something.
Onion powder, garlic powder, ground ginger, ground horseradish, cayenne pepper, turmeric 1 tsp of each 1/2tsp black pepper, 1tsp thyme or rosemary 8 oz apple cider vinegar with mother, 1/2 cup honey mix well place in a jar keep in fridge take 1tsp daily. It's called fire starter. Hope you get better soon.
@VeganChiefWarrior apple cider vinegar with mother is far superior to apple cider vinegar without mother. So if it's a cure or something to help symptoms of course it would be with mother which has more medicinal properties.
Half a mug of very strong black tea served hot. Add a shot of lemon vodka and 2 teaspoons of honey, this helps with congestion and sore throat. Another option, hot Dr. Pepper with or without 2 shots of Kraken. This is good for an upset stomach. My favorite is one part mint tea, one part ginger beer and one lemonade. I also typically add a shot of rum, though the original recipe is rye. This will settle your stomach, clear your sinuses and make you cough up a lot of nastiness in a short period of time (allowing you to sleep uninterrupted for a few hours)
YES. Cold and flu recipe from my grandma: Raw ginger, Raw garlic peeled and Jalapeno chilies washed, and then all of it is mashed together and steeped in schnapps overnight. She also suggested warm jaeger with honey for coughs.
Hon, chicken noodle soup for the sickness. Also, to soothe your throat, try some nice mint tea with organic honey. It'll help heal you up. Hope you get to feeling better.
Dude I’ve been watching you in my feed on shorts forever. I was so impressed you filmed a video while you were was so sick, I had to had to subscribe. I have two home remedies for the flu. Filling a big bowl of hot water and putting your face over it with a towel over your head. That way you can breathe in the steam. That’s really good for a head cold and a cough. The second is good for a sore throat. Make a drink by adding a clove of crushed garlic, a couple of teaspoons of honey and the juice of half a lemon and filling up the cup with boiling water. Stir that well and drink up. I hope you’re feeling better soon.
Last month when i got the flu, I made a vanilla-mint lemonade. It was simple syrup with mint extract and vanilla, and I used that instead of sugar in lemonade. Cleared me right up!
My best recipe for getting rid of anything when your sick. Spicy Chinese food, egg drop soup, ginger ale, a lot of fruits with high vitamin contents, rum (any kind), drinks with plenty of electrolytes, and finally any kinda tea (mint, fruit, ect.) with three small spoon fulls of natural honey. Do hope you feel better man!
Spray eucalyptus oil on the shower wall for a natural decongestant, and spicy foods work in a similar manner. You can also take a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar in 8oz of water and chug that, it's antimicrobial, soothing for the throat, and fights mucus. I find that hard candies work just as well for me as medicated cough drops.
Hi Ryan. The first is something simple to purchase which is yuja-cha tea. It comes in a jar and can be found at most korean/asian supermarkets. A recipe that may help sooth your more cold like symptoms is a mix of green tea, orange peel, ginger and honey if you add marjoram or sage that may also help. Boil water and add the ingredients to a half gallon Mason jar. (You can kind of eyeball it and adjust the strength of ingredients according to your taste.) Once you've poured the hot water over your ingredients add the lid and let steep for 20 mins. Try not to leave the ingredients in the jar linger than a five hours. After this you can strain out the ingredients and save the tea in your fridge to heat up as needed. Get well soon.
13:21 “Is it safer to eat the top sacs or the bottom sacs” 15:57 “creeps up on you gives you a little tickle in the throat” so many quotes I just couldn’t pick my favorite that needs to be on a shirt lol😂😂😂
Food theory proved that chicken noodle soup is the best for colds. I would love to see you do this with normal dried fruit that is not Mexican sweets and some mexican sweets such as the mango lollypops and watermelon spaghetti. I would also love to see you try more British sweets such as chewits, hard boiled sweets, wine gums, Rowntree fruit gums and fruit pastiles, drumsticks, refreshers, fruit salads, black jacks and so much more.
It's a old family mixture for colds or fevers but it's a shot of whiskey, 1 cup of hot lemon tea, 1 tablespoon of honey and after you drink this, wrap yourself up in a blanket and get some rest
4 ounces water into a pot, half a lemon squeezed and cut into quarters, about half a teaspoon of fresh grated ginger, add to the water and bring just to a boil and turn off. Strain into coffee cup, add 1 tablespoon of raw natural honey and 1 shot of Irish whiskey. Stir and sip, do twice a day, around lunch and before bed. Even without whiskey still makes a healthy relaxing drink. This is my automatic go to remedy.
Whiskey, tea, lemon, honey, cinnamon, ginger and apple cider vinegar!!! Half a shot of whiskey, ounce of lemon, tablespoon of honey, 1/8 tablespoon of cinnamon and ginger both and ounce of apple cider vinegar all into a cup of tea. I love the taste and it is so soothing. Make sure the tea is as hot as you can stand. May but cure it but makes you feel better.
Pineapple. Also, absolutely love tamarinds. My mother would always bring them home as a snack, and yes, me and my siblings would spit those seeds at each other like you two had did lol. As for a recipe on getting over a cold. Something my family had always made me to drink would be half a lime squeezed into a cup of hot water and honey mixed together. I'm not sure if it did anything, but it always made me feel better.
In Brazil, my polish grandfather give me onion syrup for treat cold and throat pain. One or two white onions, pelled, sliced. Put then in a jar and put sugarcane refined sugar, put in the refrigerator overnight. After that, the onion Will liberate kind of syrup, drink one or two spoons in the morning and before bed

Boil water and put lemon juice, a teaspoon of honey and very small bits of chopped/grated ginger. know as "Lemon honey ginger" here, it's supposed to help with sore throats, cold's or the flu.
Chicken and pastry soup: 1 can cream of chicken (and 1 can full of water) 2 baked chicken breats, diced (at 350 deg F for 20 min or canned chicken) 1-2 Tbl Herbs de Provance 1-2 cups of wide noodles Boil everything in a pot until noodles are soft. Season with pepper to preference. Get better soon, Ryan, and don't make yourself sicker for us.
The standard one my mother told me for blocked sinuses: 2 tablespoons honey A squirt of lemon juice Add hot water to a mug with these and mix together. In recent years I'd also had a little bit of ground ginger and some turmeric. That proves spicy, sweet, sour and medicinal enough to help me when I have a cold.
Maraschino cherries and any kind of whiskey with a small splash of honey. or you can do peppermint leaves soaked in honey and spiced rum. they both help
Ye'Olde Finnish remedy for cold is Sauna, Tar, and Booze!! You cover yourself in tar and go sit in hot sauna and you drink booze! If that dont cure you, nothing will!!! 😂😂😂😂🎉

Wellness Tea recipe: Chamomile tea, honey, cough drops! This has helped me a lot when I'm sick or of course just get Theraflu Tea! Also any kind of tea will work for the Wellness Tea!
Eat a couple oranges a day if you got them. When I get sick, I just up my citrus intake. A tea of couple spearmint leaves, a whole sliced lemon, and 2 thumb sized knobs of sliced ginger is also great.
Garlic sliced and put on bread with butter or roast a clove in the oven and squeeze out the garlic and spread it on toast either is ok and❤ honey or with tea with 2 bags ( your fave and green tea) use honey to sweeten
I see a lot of recommendations for a hot toddy or a spice mixture, but may I recommend if you're having trouble eating solid food or cooking complicated recipes to get yourself some miso paste and make a quick miso soup? It's just miso paste, dashi powder, and boiling water and it'll get you feeling better soon. If you want to elevate it a little health-wise thin sliced mushrooms, tofu, thin sliced green onions, and spinach are all good to add.
Living in the Southwest US, it is common to see a lot of these things being surrounded by a lot of Mexican culture and food(Mexican food down here is top tier). I once had a co-worker that liked to put "Saladitos" in his beer
I don't have a specific recipe to deal with the flu, but here are my personal recommendations: - Get lots of rest. - Drink plenty water, slowly, to hydrate your throat. - Eat food that contains plenty of fluids, vitamins and minerals. I recommed a decent chicken soup. - Keep some fruits in your fridge in case you feel like a snack. That way they'll be both nutritious and soothingly cold.
Ginger, Lemon/Lemongrass, and Honey for the throat. Follow everyone else for the remediea for colds. I'd suggest chicken and/or Beef Soup and Minestrone. Gatorade/Powerade are good ideas too, but don't forget normal Water
once I got to east africa, i was introduced to a drink known as dawa. Dawa means medicine in swahili. It is fresh ginger juice, fresh lemon juice, and honey
Remedy, Rum or whatever alcohol(but highly recommend white rum) with chopped onions in very tiny cubes, cubed aloe vera (in tiny cubes too) honey and lime(freshly squeezed is best but do whatever you got)
Peach tea (my preferred is Teavana) 1 riccola original 1 tsp lemon juice or 1 Tbsp orange juice honey to taste (if you're going the Doka Ryan path - add in some Caravello Limoncella) let the riccola dissolve in the hot tea for best results also - Yes for Tequila, looking to see if anything available nearby can beat Patron Gold Anejo ps, you really need to try Bali's Best Coffee Candy in 1/2 malibu and 1/2 white run - /chefskiss
My grandmother had a foolproof way to feel better when you feel bad. Take a shot of blackberry brandy on the hour, every hour, until you a) feel better, b) fall asleep, or c) a combination of b, followed by a.
German recipe to fight a cold: warm up beer in a pan and mix in honey. Don't let it boil. Drink it warm and have a lie down under a thick duvet. You'll sweat the cold out.
When I was sick as a kid, my grand mother would give me a teaspon or two of a homemade elixer that when older I learned was something like 2 parts Rock and Rye Whiskey, with 1 part lemon juice and 1 part honey. I don't know how well it actually worked, but I usually felt better afterwards. No idea if that was a placebo effect or what.
Peel and chop an onion into small pieces. Peel and chop fresh garlic Place the onion and garlic pieces in a clean jar. Add enough honey to cover them. Secure the jar with a tight lid and let it sit on your counter for 8-12 hours. After the time has passed, open the jar to find an infused syrup layered above the produce. With a clean utensil or mesh strainer, remove the syrup and discard the solids. Take one to two tablespoons of syrup 🎉🎉🎉 🎉🎉🎉 🎉🎉🎉
