@@luno1884 Wouldn't recommend Vulcan. It had some really big problems in the past. For the best free one I would go with Negativity. Wouldn't say it's that good but currently the best you'll get

As a somewhat of a n00b, could you explain the difference between mods, mod packs, texture packs, resource packs, plugins, etc?! Thx!!
Texture packs and resource packs are the same, they both change the textures of the game. A plugin is a mod, but for a server and it doesnt have to be installed by the player, only by the server. A mod is a extension for the game, made by the community. A mod pack is just a pack that contains a lot of mods.

The plugin is called OnlyLegalPlacement and protect players from placing a illegal blocks, the use case is to add blocks like bedrock, barrier, command_block, etc.. I would so happy if it would be on your list! If you will say that you will add it then it would motivate me to release it fast :D

I prefer UltraPermissions much more than LuckyPerms... Only if your willing to pay for it though. Luckperms is a good free alternative, but not the best. I agree it's one of the greatest of all time though.

In lots of cases it does yes. It's not optimized for newer versions of Minecraft anymore
