What's amazing is you, your family and your channel!!! I'm shocked at how much water flows beneath your green house! It filled up overnight!!! 😮 I love how you set everything up with the overflow. The spigot will be your be very, very helpful. You could look into a drip irrigation system that runs off of a 12v DC pump/battery/solar panel!!! Depending on how much time you spend watering, it may save you loads of time/effort for a minimal investment. Anyway, could be content for a future video, who knows??? 😉 Keep the great videos coming. 👍
Yes it's pretty wild that it filled up overnight! Thanks again for the awesome idea! We're definitely looking at doing drip irrigation or possibly "misting" from above... I do spend a lot of time, especially once it heats up, keeping everything watered. We'll do another video once we get it figured out too :)
I have a sump pump and lately I noticed the water being collected has oil on it, and I believed that oil is coming from my sump pump bearing. So my question is it safe to use the contaminated water in my vegetable garden? Thanks
I'm not associated with this channel but I would suggest not using oily water on your vegetables and maybe not even plants. I recently started collecting my sump pump water as well but it is not oily, no smell and is only a little yellow ish so I believe it's safe for my plants so far it has been okay

What an excellent way to conserve your resources!
Yes, it's been super helpful when watering, especially knowing it was going to waste before. :)
Great video!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it :)

I would be careful with that water myself. Is it possible to change/resolve the sump pump bearing so it's not adding oil to the water?
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience! I agree with your take on this, too.
