Yeah it’s because of pressure probably, but hey now the coaching staff is so serious and they have game shrinks to help with that kinda stuff. Almost always though, high expectations + inexperienced players = failure
I wouldn’t say this video is LPL hype. If you look back the S7 tease, was also lots of LPL content; look back to S8, was mainly LCK, too; and S9 open tease was Europe occupied the biggest portion of the video. Because they were the hosts!
Last year's open tease video was LEC (host) got the most portion, no one said anything, this year has too many Chinese faces then people complain. Isn't this racism?
So don't call it a GROUP stage when you don't include the rest of the participants for GROUPS. No one would be mad for this content if it was labelled for what it is.... LPL teaser. If this was labelled correctly, i'd be one of those applauding for the great quality LPL teaser that it is.
People keep saying this video is biased..., It's not, this is how they've always done the opening tease, the goal is to focus on a specific storyline/narrative that is the most prominent and give it the spotlight, it has always been like this, you NA and EU fanboys can expect something once your region proves themselves and actually have a worthwhile story to put a spotlight on.
Man i was waiting for Faker to pop up on the teaser but i remembered he didnt make it this time :( the goosebumps everytime he appears is just different
It's different because KR made that statement AFTER winning 5 years straight championships. That's different from China saying that on only 2 years of the championship. The entire world didn't bat an eye on 2018 because KR has proven their worth for 5 years. And while China 3:0'd their 2 championships, they weren't as convincing or dominating 3:0

This isn't a World Championship group stage teaser. This is an LPL introduction video.
My problem isn't that this teaser is LPL heavy. 2019 was LEC heavy. 2018 was LCK heavy. 2020 just doesn't give the same hype as those past teasers.
Group Stage Opening Tease starts at 3:45 everything before is just story of LPL
Nice LPL hype teaser doe! Can't wait to see group stage tease!!!
ok a couple things everyone should keep in mind:
1. for the past few years the host region has never worked out well
2. Mostly tournament favourite don't win the cup, i.e. longzhu gaming, Kingzone, KT roster, RNG and 2019 SKT. the exceptions are previous SKT.
Yeah it’s because of pressure probably, but hey now the coaching staff is so serious and they have game shrinks to help with that kinda stuff. Almost always though, high expectations + inexperienced players = failure
Ohhhhhhh I’m so excited!!!!
EU CAN DO IT THIS TIME, THIRD TIME THE LUCKY CHARM. LETS GOOO
We are cursed .....
Hope that is true but after mad lions defeat...I some how lose hope for EU
I guess you all just didn’t see the 2018 group stage teaser before.
Its time for G2 to win im calling it.
lul
Clown2
I wouldn’t say this video is LPL hype. If you look back the S7 tease, was also lots of LPL content; look back to S8, was mainly LCK, too; and S9 open tease was Europe occupied the biggest portion of the video. Because they were the hosts!
Last year's open tease video was LEC (host) got the most portion, no one said anything, this year has too many Chinese faces then people complain. Isn't this racism?
I swear if knight doesn't perform. The dade award should be renamed to him. The hype is as if he's the next faker.
True u have the point.
DRX has the worlds song buff, and riot also released dragon themed skins.
Coincidence?
*I THINK NOT*
All teams are in quarantine, Except for LPL. So..
So don't call it a GROUP stage when you don't include the rest of the participants for GROUPS. No one would be mad for this content if it was labelled for what it is.... LPL teaser. If this was labelled correctly, i'd be one of those applauding for the great quality LPL teaser that it is.
People keep saying this video is biased..., It's not, this is how they've always done the opening tease, the goal is to focus on a specific storyline/narrative that is the most prominent and give it the spotlight, it has always been like this, you NA and EU fanboys can expect something once your region proves themselves and actually have a worthwhile story to put a spotlight on.
gotta give it to the chinese. really good with their buildup and metaphors
After watching this, I went to silvxs worlds 2020 video to rinse my eyes off.
Man i was waiting for Faker to pop up on the teaser but i remembered he didnt make it this time :( the goosebumps everytime he appears is just different
he did appear at a moment
First 30 seconds are like Uzi exclusive so that definitely wouldn't have stopped them.
I waited an entire year for this
For everyone who calls this video to LPL biased watch the 2018 group teaser same style
@@siegejay6364 What how was IG vs Fnc and Fpx vs G2 not convincing the completly samshed their opponent.
Last year teaser it's by far the best hype video ever created, this had to be like that.
Leon Qu bruh LCK released that teaser in 2018 look what happened? LPL released the same kind of vid we will know what will happen. 🤣🤣🤣
Did anyone actually watch this video before titling it?
"Didnt need to envy other regions' players" yeah right, Rookie, theShy, DoinB and Gimgoon were clearly chinese lol
@@Derren82 Loken korean too
I loved the way he talked about a gathering of martial artists from around the globe to defeat the master. Really well done and I loved this!
KARSA. is a lowkey professional that only few knows.
For me, He was one of the best JUNGLER carrying Flashwolves to worlds back then and now 2020 i hope he dominates more.
Why is there so much hate for this teaser but not the 2018 groups teaser? They're a very similar format
Also don't attack me i'm just wondering
Ya but ihave a feeling that LPL will underperform due to this video because looking back in 2018 Korea under performed and the group teaser was similiar to this
So this is 4 and a half minute of dack sucking for the LPL? What a downer.
95% LPL teaser 2% LCK 2% LEC and 1% LCS XD
0:50 they were missing good korean players at that time XD
For those who's saying this is a LPL teaser, go wathch the gourp stage opeing tease 2018
Go watch 2019, it's so good
Is this LPL teaser or group stage teaser I'm so confused🙄
Great LPL teaser, when do we get the rest of the regions?
I hope that it would actually highlight all the region tf is this LPL worlds hahahaha
It's trying to condition the viewers mind that LPL will win.
You guys remember last years World Song? They're doing the same foreshadowing here. It's all rigged. China is buying championship wins. Watch how the enemy team will int to make way for a bought 3-0 China win.
@@siegejay6364 i dont think thats how it works buddy.
CHILLS. I CAN'T WAIT.
This could at least be subbed in English since the majority understands English. Make an English version please.
There is caption 🙄🙄
Keep in mind the non-LPL pros most likely couldn’t participate in any shooting due to the quarantine. I expect them to show up in future teasers.
If that's how they want to proceed, then they should've specifically put it's a LPL teaser.... then when they're ready to release to footage for other region in the future label them as Worlds Teaser.
"We no longer need to be envious of other regions players" meanwhile winning 2 world championships because each team has 2 Korean players. Hmm.
In 2018, riot decided to change the whole game. So, we were able to win.
Imagine if LPL failed this year LOL
bro like korea in 2018?
More like 2017 with the hosted Worlds and loses in semifinals
Sorry but Damwon 😇
It's funny that China server is different than others when everywhere else we are following same pattern.
@@bakamitai3462 he means the superserver . Not the playstyle
@@akshaymishra3674
They have more than 10 times the players base of other regions that's why...
@@fullbuster141 sure . I was just trying to explain what og comment meant.
