I'm trying to get me and my 13 yr old son out to Southern Colorado for the opener, just nervous to go in blind, don't know where to begin really I was also considering WY as I've never been there and Southern Colorado i was years ago for mule deer hunting and had a great time, found a few sheds too!
Thank you so much! It didn’t actually, I have found a couple that does have that smell that would gag a maggot! Lol these have been in the garage a couple weeks and still don’t stink. Kinda surprised.
I'm gettin pumped up man!!!
The time is getting close!

@@briantrudell8248 in southern co I’d focus 7-9 k elevation. That elevation could change too depending on how much snow they do or do not get.
Thanks for sharing 👊🏻
Thank you!
You can take any chalk/white shed and soak them in water. Then cut tips off and put them tines down..next morning blood will be everywhere.
Pretty crazy! Just never seen any bleed all over on my pack! Haha…It surprised me.
Hey Matt! Great video! I’m just curious if that bleeding antler had a stinky rotten smell to it? Pretty crazy!

Pretty common on west coast of Washington to have sheds bleed, type of bacteria. Just never heard of in dryer climates.
My first time ever seeing it. Was shocked! Thought it was my blood!
I remember coming across 9 horns in one spot all brown elk sheds
I dig that! Got a video coming in 2 weeks and I find 5 brown elk in a 200 yard square area. But super jelly about your find! 😎
Grape jelly?
Maybe strawberry, I carry a jar on my hikes. Haha
