This was the best I have seen or read about this medication, I had decided that I don’t want to try this medicine, thanks for an eye opening presentation
I have been putting off starting Fosamax for my osteoporosis because I am terrified of the side effects. Truly truly terrified. I have enough aches and pains, arthritis and neuropathy from having had chemo 20 years ago for breast cancer. I don’t need any more physical problems caused by a medication.
I find this very educational and informative. Thank you for this! I'm currently taking Fosamax for 12 weeks along with Calcium due to osteoporosis and I've heard of negative side-effects, mainly on dental procedures. Thank you for bringing that up. I'm planning to get some tooth fillings but will this medication cause any adverse reaction to it? I've heard that other dental procedures such as tooth extractions, root canal, etc may cause jawbone necrosis. Not sure about tooth fillings though.
Hi Doctor, My calcium level is 7.1 and the doctor recommended me to take Alindorenat 70mg.. I'm a man and 33 years old.. What do you think? Thanks in advance

Smart choice, I'm going nowhere near it either.
This is what my rheumatologist is pushing.
Just passed nclex and here to encourage everyone that nclex is not as hard as assumed, just work smart and you would pass
Congratulations

You do what you think is best for your health. Increasing calcium and vitamin D in your diet and weight bearing exercises are helpful too.
I’m in the same boat. I just can’t . Been eating NATTO w kiwi and sardines everyday
Very good info. I like it that you are brief and to the point! I subbed ya.
Thanks 😊
On the last slide, you skipped talking about one of your tips, “If on calcium/ vitamin D, take it at lunch.” Could you please explain in more detail?
What a brilliant video. Thank you so much.
What happens when you finish taking this medication, do u have a break from this med or go onto something else?

Good and informative video. But just one silly question. Why can't a patient with hypocalcemia take Fosamax?
Because in order to work properly the body needs to have an adequate amount of calcium.
Thanks
I have a mother who took this treatment and got swelling in the knees, what is the solution?
Is there any data on…patients who have pain with Fosamax do just fine on the Prolia?
Actually yes Prolia is recommended for cancer patients whom Fosamax doesn't work well
thank youuu❤❤
Hi, can we ask you about medical terminology here? 😅
Sure. what is your question?
Very helpful and informative video.. you are so cute
