this show was my childhood, and my teen years were filled with veronica mars. I was lucky to have two complicated, brave, funny and incredible women to look up to.
This show helped me deal with having mental illness as a teenager. My illness cut me off from school, from friends, from my family, from everything familiar and threw me into this world that terrified me and I didn’t know how to deal with. I related to her so much on that level.
It is sad to see her struggles everyone thought she was so perfect and had no struggles but in truth she was the one to struggle the most so when everyone was going at her for doing her job I was like man buffy fight because in truth in season 6 she was broken, sad alone and depressed and coming to grips with the fact that their is a darkness in her and that she has changed and her accepting death as her gift more and more and season 7 was her stepping to be a leader when no one else would I mean they voted for faith but she was never a leader and yes buffy was tough and she made mistakes but no one is perfect she was right about the weapon and Caleb so when they all turn against her I was like damn bitches she saved all of your lives u don’t deserve her help
I agree! Poor Faith never even wanted to be the leader, but she was never afraid to challenge Buffy and then all of B's friends turned on her. That scene upsets me so much. I struggle with seasons 6 and 7 because Buffy is so damaged and sad in both of them. I just want her to be okay. What a life she led, and her courage knew no bounds.
The show highlighted that just because someone's life looks perfect on the outside, it can be filled with strife and violence. It's a good metaphor for Facebook honestly.
I was actually hoping buffy would get a bit petty and throw in their faces that it was their fault all of this was happening because they brought her back from the dead and set it in motion all this crap for her to deal with from the first including getting beat by the Uber vamp twice and nearly dying again because of it
I started watching Buffy and I'm still young.. But Buffy inspired me and so many more people to be as strong as they can even when they're broken, or even want to stop doing what they have to, including school. But Buffy and other characters in the show have inspired many kids and teenagers not to give up.
You've just reminded me why I love this character so much, it was the best tribute ever. I'm so grateful to this lady and to the show and its characters in general. Thanks for sharing it. xx

I've never seen more than like 3 or4 episodes of this show (1 in s3) but I really adore this song and the voiceovers in this capture a POWERFUL sense of the frustrating emotions of a "Chosen One" trope character. Thank you for making such a great tribute.
