The 80's was the best decade
I grew up and around REO Speedwagon, with Gary Richrath playing at our Dances in High School, at our local Rolling Skating Rink in Pekin, Illinois in the 1960s, the the Red Lion Club in Champagne, Illinois in the late 1960s and early 1970s, then they were taken away, off to Rock N Roll Stardom. I worked with Dennis Richrath (Gary’s brother) for two years, and I miss those days of youth and great fun times. Sadly Denny and Gary both have passed on, so my time is around the corner, and I will see you soon. R.I.P…..
I saw Them with my brother in Florida. Best band ever. Loved playing this song on juke box at Pizza Hut in 80s....great memories thank you REO

Me & My son saw them at Billy Bob Tx My memories of a childhood songs just amazing hearing these songs in person the band was Extrodinary my son got it on his phone it was cool rocked the whole night the night was packed there was screams yelling & singing of enjoyment my son was singing some of the songs having a good time so glad he had a great time so did I he bought a cap which he loves to wear I bought a shirt which Let's say a couple but worth it next time they come we're going again he loved it my back when songs I play on my CD going to work he sings to some glad he had a great time & songs fabulous

I use to work in the bar playing music for the dancers in p.I and one of the dancer's reguest was always Reo Speedwagons record.Thats her favorites.She was a great dancer.

If I would say to you about REO-SPEEDWAGON, it is a memory of one of my teen days in the 70s. Early my teens. Like a shot of movie clips, or my real-time of one of my Sundays ever. So I like this song.
this man's voice was most pristine, and clear as a diamond. I know 1000 of shows later etc, if I didn't know this is Kevin Cronin I wouldn't recognize his voice now

The Guitar in the original solo was marvelous.
Kevin has retained his voice through all these years. I like this version of the song. Slightly slower than the original studio version.

Ol KC used to have the most tuneful melodic voice. It was a thing of beauty. I'm afraid it's well and truly gone. REO are playing in London (England) in December. I for one will not be going. It pains me to say it. Not that they've played in The UK that often but I've always gone to see them when they have played here.
In my opinion, the only classic rock band worth seeing. These guys are the real thing, not like these "tribute" bands parading around as the original bands .We know who you are.
