I love this so much I'm rewatching it for the 5th time. (Which is also bc of lore reasons)
And ik no one really asked for any theories I just wanna share some of mine.
Based on how Norman dismisses Ray's behavior towards him I believe that he and Ray used to get along but then something happened that kind of messed up their friendship. (based on how he says: it's what he became)
I think that an accident might have happened and Norman could have been the cause of it, based on the flashbacks that Norman has at the end of the video. And I don't think it's any kind of accident. I think that the accident caused the loss of a life, or a permanent injury that won't heal, with the victim being Emma. Emma kind of acts as a sort of bridge or glue between the two boys (like how extroverts being many different people to interact with one another) So if something happened to Emma, that would probably be enough to cause a rift in their friendship. This would explain why she isn't with them. Now, there could be a possibility that she's in another school, I kinda doubt it. Based on how she called out to Norman near the end.
Ok that's my theory for the past, now for what might happen in the future episodes.
I think there might be something that we will encounter that will force Norman to face his past again, or something that will force Ray and Norman to work together somehow (considering a lot of camping trips in horror movies) and considering how Norman mentions that not many people have heard of camp neverland, I have a sort of reason to believe something bad will happen.
Now again, I have to mention that this is only a theory.
