i agree the violins are truely extraodanery, i allways turn it up at the breakdown (forgotten what the tech word for it is) they coordinate so well with the doubble bass of the drum i love them!
Wow......by far one of my favorite Thursday songs....it holds so much personal meaning for me, to this day it's hard to not choke up when I hear it, especially when like that...
@hildegarnzxz it's so hard to define Thursday as a genre, but I feel that the music's heart/sincerity seperates it from other post-hardcore/prog bands out there. It's got that jersey/dc dischord sound but is like a MILLION times better... Thank god for thursday. :)

meh. i read that book about 5 years ago and wasn't too impressed... it was interesting to read about the history of "emo" music, but other than that it didn't really offer anything that one couldn't figure out just by listening to these bands
