What an amazing lie it was I have to degrees and guess what no one wants to hire that has no experience unless you actually have an internship but even they are screwy
I love the enjoyment Daria gets when it comes to tormenting her younger sister. "Maybe we can sit together" As Quinn protests in her high squeaky voice.
I was stunned that Jake and Helen had no objection to their 14 year old daughter going on a date with a middle aged man. Jake even voices encouragement. 😨
I always told my Canadian students they were lucky, they don't know what stress is. They only have to worry about getting into a good program, the university (all public) doesn’t really matter, and there are no SATs to worry about...
That's true. However, due to them introducing private high school programs, a lot of students opt out to pay money for a higher grade with little work. This created a massive grade inflation problem for high school students, and the admission minimum grade is in high 90% for all relevant programs (medical, engineering, etc).
@@harryshuman9637 Yup. And for some idiotic reason they stopped showing if it was a private school credit about 6-7 years ago. If I was appointed Minister of Education, I'd shut the credit mills down the same day! I'd send out inspectors to ensure that all schools had to be real schools or they wouldn't be recognized.... Medical but not Medicine. The honest kid that takes biology and excels will slaughter the credit mill kids.... Those guys will never get into Medical School!
wasn't it revealed Quinn ended up getting pregnant with triplets in college and became a single mom? Guess beauty school would have been the better option.
@@annevogel2121 A writer and an illustrator got interviewed by HuffPo iirc. In their vision Quinn got triplets. But Eichler, main writer, likely has a different vision.
@@annevogel2121 She wrote a really endearing story about the future. Quin was a happy stay at home with kids and self aware and Daria was an author, I think? Parents were happy in old age. Helen was touched. 💕💕
Anyone else remember when we were made to believe that going to college was the only option we were given to guarantee success in life?
All to well!
It isn’t, but many opportunities come from going to college that wouldn’t be accessible from just a high school degree.

Something tells me they were only half paying attention...
@seeleunit2000 You're probably right. Still, when Daria mentioned a "Making Out" scholarship you'd think they'd take notice!
It happens all the time on this show it is that they are not listening to what their daughters say half the time that is why they are ok with that.

I think that was a story that Daria wrote
