Lol!! There was actually rain scheduled yesterday so that's one of the reasons I did a tear down. But it never happened so I decided to film outside. Those are the giant Costco wind chimes.
Am shopping for bull dozers to compliment other equipment for my nieces and nephews to use in the play area I’m building. Going inexpensive for now and will feed in hydraulic replacement vehicles as these break. Safe to assume all hydraulics move more dirt than electrics/screw drives? Your rig should s beautiful but what sort of short comings are your mods addressing? (Receiver, etc). Thx!
I have my dozer apart just got it in the mail with my 360. I didn’t run it yet it was a lot of metal chips in the tank. I just ordered my sound module and my lights. Also going to a put a oil cooler and a filter before I run it looking forward to getting it completed. Can you do a video on your smr sound module installation. Still kind a new at this. Thanks
Thanks for the question. There are actually quite a few SMR videos already out . It's actually a very straight forward process. I also strongly recommend the Servonaut M211 Dual Motor controller. It does a really nice job blending the 2 motors onto 1 chanel whith a few different control logics to get the exact kind of drive you want. Feel free to ask any questions you have during your installation and I'd be glad to answer.
Thank you very much for the reply yeah I’m thinking about getting the M2 11 dual motor controller once I get everything here then I’ll start putting it together thanks for the input take it to heart great videos keep it up!
The other cool thing is the m211 has a power plug for the SMR. so for the power connection on the SMR you literally just plug it into the m211. Not like it's that big of a deal to splice it into power but it's just really clean together and one less thing you have to do. . You're welcome. It's always very exciting getting RC gear!!
I've got one , haven't even put a battery in it to run it yet. I ordered a new pump from CSMI , they recommended to go with 6mm hose from tank to pump & pump to valve , the reason why this stock pump makes that god awfawl sound is because it's cavitating ( starving for fluid) .
Hey Bro that's a nice pump you got . Yes you definitely want 6mm for the supply. That's how the stock pump is plumbed. Dang there must be something wrong with your stock pump. I've got over 50 hours on mine (addicted to pushing) and its working great. Just be aware that the demands of Dozers hydraulics are way less than something like that of an excavator. In the excavator the hydraulics do all the lifting work but in the Dozer all the hydraulics need to lift is the weight of the implements. In the Dozer all the heavy work is done by the drivetrain instead of the hydros. I would definitely keep that new pump on hand and save it for a project like the 360l or other excavator which has much higher hydraulic demands. I will probably just get a backup stock pump for the dozer since my Magom pump would just be wasted putting it in the dozer. Also if you set your pump up On Demand then it will only spool the pump when you're actuating a hydraulic control. That's why mine is so quiet. Also it saves on battery a ton not having the pump running always

The looseness is normal. The leak is coming from that open vent pipe I show in my video. I have another video where I have found that a suitable fix is to plug the vent. The system is small enough at a low enough pressure that the small open space in the tank is enough for expansion.
Got worried thought there was a 🌪 coming through with those wind chimes going 🥜 🤪🤣 Good info to know when mine gets here 🤭.

I got the same dozer how ever where all the hoses converge in the rear that block n tank seem to be loose has been leaking since day one
