Nice considerations. So many things to consider but ultimately I think it’s just what each person likes. I think gold is slightly more formal. Silver a bit more casual. I’m more a silver gal but I have both. A classic flap can never be edgy in my opinion. It’s a completely classy traditional bag that’s incorporated into many different types of outfits. And of course mixing metals is common.

I am torn… i am a silver girl for 100% because of my skin tone, but I like the gold hardware more on the black bag because the silver looks too edgy in my opinion. And my actual dream bag is white with silver hardware, but i am scared it will get dirty too fast

Recently, I discovered rose gold jewelry and sold all my white gold jewelry to replace them by rose gold jewelry. I also bought belts in gold because it is similar to rose gold. My question is: should I keep my silver belts to wear with my silver hatdware bags since all my jewels are rose gold?

the gold hardware can be easily tarnished too. that’s why silver hardwares are always the best
