Yeah, there are definitely aircraft where mastering the wonky guns are the key to success. The MiG-15 and MiG-17 are perfect examples, given they have amazing flight performance, but the guns are definitely a harang to try and work around. I personally think the Mauser 27mm has more potential than the DEFA 30mm.

@@DEFYNI think it's possible you had such a bad experience with the alpha A because of the belt? The air target belt has a tracer round, which does fuck all according to the in-game armor simulator. I've personally had good success with the stealth belt.

Actually what you're saying about the weight distribution on the wings is wrong. All weight in the middle is far worse for the wingroots than having weight distributed along the length of the wing like with the gunpods. Its a reason passenger aircraft keep their engines in pods all this time. Its a bit more strain on the ground but while flying it actually relieves the wings compared to if the weight was in the fuselage.
To be more precise: The g loads of the wing gunpods counteract the lever action the lift is putting on the wing roots while pulling.
Idk how it works irl but ingame weight on the winfs make your wings much easier to snap

@@ArchonCommandoIt's not the wing root that is snapping, it's the wing tip. The load on the spars that are farther out than the guns increases for a given g-force.
The change of load at the wing root depends on where the gun is mounted along the wing as well as the geometry of the wing itself (lift distribution). For a gun mounted close to the root, load at the root increases. Vice-versa, for a gun mounted at the tip (more realistically, a missile mounted at the tip), the load at the wing root decreases.

If you use the fuel slider it's fairly reliable, seems to be mostly the presets that are buggy

6:30 the F3H‘s radar missiles are no threat whatsoever. They're 7Cs and absolutely unusable. They don't even pull for the first 2 or 3 seconds and after that, they pull barely anything and easily lose track. No reason to be scared really
Yeah, I think about the only things I managed to kill with them were B-29s and Tu-4s and even then they just would randomly miss quite often.

Kinda, yah. It's actually kinda fun if someone goes all-out and you set it up right. The thing dumps a ridiculous amount of speed, and can stick its nose damn near anywhere during the process. If they aren't expecting it, you can reverse people in a few seconds. Fucked if you miss tho.

The F3H-2 is one of my favorite planes in the US tech tree...I know it's bad, I just have really good luck with it and braindead enemies lol.
I wish we could have 1 full year where cannons actually do damage, pretty miserable how often guns wave up and down on damage output, like there's no consistency at all.
Nah the Defas are consistently good . The Mauser is consistently terrible and it's not a bug but the horrible belts.
@@frostedbutts4340 In my extensive recent experience with air target belt, they're good but still pretty inconsistent, I think a lot of the issues though revolve around the severe damage and kill/assist rework tho, it's inherently unpredictable.

hey defyn i fly mostly props for almost a year now thinking about getting in to jets I feel like its arcade but getting bored with props do you have any tips on how to set your keyboard for jet play?
I know I'm not defyn, but if you are just getting into jets you don't have to change anything. Early jets aren't all that different than late props. The only thing is that most of them have airbrakes, so that's worth noting

1 year of premium account means 1 year of easy grinding any nation
depends on how much you play and what you need. If you play every day, the premium account is way better. If you don't have a lot of time but still want a CAS/CAP for your top-tier German GRB, then probably consider the jet.

@@kingghidorah8106 I think he’s referring to the fact that the Alphajet E is not a French copy-paste, and German one is not the original variant. Alphajet is a Dassault and Breguet lead project, though Dornier was a part of the team.
I assume you’re thinking that because German one is A, French one is E. Yet, both A and E do not mean variant orders. It means:
A = Appui Tactique (Tactical Support)
E = Ecole (School / Training)
Same thing with M2K / Rafale. C = Chasseur (Fighter), B = Biplace (Two Seat), D = Diversifie (Multirole), M = Marine, N = Nuclear. Nothing to do with famous (and mostly American) nomenclature of A/B/C/D…

I think this game is awesome but I’m contemplating quitting because of gaijin. I sent in an account transfer ticket about a month ago. I’ve spent money on my account and I let them know I planned on spending more so I find it ridiculous considering I’ve heard most say it takes about 1-2 days to get transferred. I sent another ticket asking what was going on only to receive my first ticket id. This is why and I and others hate customer service, idc if it’s your job and idk why everyone in customer service is literal human scum but it’s probably a job requirement. Def at gaijin.
