I swear I read a book emphasizing the same thing a decade ago. I forgot which book but basically, the woman realized that all the small gestures she took for granted-such as the guy setting aside the olives on his pizza for her and touching her feet with his to keep hers warm-are all acts of love. She was looking for grand gestures and thought he didn't love her as much anymore but all along, she was very much loved.
Oh I just finished the book yesterday! Yes that particular part made my heart melt…..he expressed how love really should be and how you should love and treat your partner! 🎉💞🥰. The book had you thinking of every emotion that you could possibly experience! That author is wonderful!
My dtr read this book before I did...and I finally got to it and listened to the audio. When that part came up I was in the car bawling I tell ya!! Then I immediately texted her and told her ...this is true! Her and BF will get engaged soon..and I told her I'd keep reminding her of this because her sweet BF does this very thing..and she needs to see that and return the favor ❤❤
The United States is such a messed-up country that this woman ends up discovering what real love and life is through a book… Better late than never, but I feel sorry for the men in this country who have to deal with women like that.
That line- AND ITS HIS POV, ITS HIS DIALOGUE!!!! u need to read Abby Jimenez books if u want an act of service, patient love and warm cozy book. Start from Part of your world, Yours Truly to Just for the summer (which is this book) then thank me later. hahaha
just read part of your world and you're okay. if you read the others you get easter eggs but you don't NEED to read them first. this is kinda like a continuation of poyw though (2 sides of the same coin type of continuation)
Idk if you already read them but I personally think you can read them in any order. I accidentally read Just for the Summer first and now I’ve read Part of Your World, I’m actually kind of happy I did because there’s a pretty big plot twist in Just for the Summer that you would already know about if you read them in order. I will re-read JFTS after reading the first two because I think it’ll be nice to know the side characters in the story :)

I’ve been told you can read them any order. But I haven’t read any of them yet so you may want someone that has read them to tell you that. But two different people that have read them all told me that when I asked. I’m going to assume that you may see the characters in the other books though so if you don’t want to chance any crossover then read in order. ❤

The bit where trauma is discussed is perfect. This author has a way of describing complex things and making them easier to understand
This book already became my one of the favourite books❤
I want Justin for myself!🥺♥️

If you’ll look at another person’s comment above, I told what I was as told about it. ❤
@@whitneywest3538 oh I must have missed that. thanks 🫶🏻
@@faithhoffmeyer5473I rarely read the comments before I say or ask something. 😂
