I mean what's the fun in trying to remake the same vibe over and over again? imo its much cooler to see the different interpretations of the song and sounds that groups can bring. Weather you like the cover or not, it's fun to see how the girls took the song and made it their own to fit their sound :)

I do prefer this but what i love about their voices covering it is the added little touch of some sort of slightly robotic autotune but still sounds pretty human in the chorus. It makes the cover sound extra nostalgic. Even though the OG version of tell me didn't have any autotune this added some more authenticity to their y2k style and blended well with the more modern sounding cover instrumental. I really miss the random bits of autotune in songs. It's used very rarely these days.
