Thank you so much! I definitely have and will continue to rely a ton on floorplans I find online, I'd recommend that! The muse was just with me when I built this one without a reference, but also a practice makes perfect kind of thing. :)
Amazing as always! Super fun that this sim has had another speed build done for her lol, its fun following her housing journey 😆 As always, I have come away with a new list of cc to try and squeeze into my game, lol. I loved the wallpaper in the living room on the wall with the windows, that looked very cool! And the daughters room, I would have died for a room like that when I was 8 😆😍 so awesome. Thankyou for sharing the build, can't wait for the other 7 to come lol
I had so much fun with Mickey's room! I only wish I could have put her womrat (Pigbert) in her bedroom. I tried to in their old place but he woke her up. Debated giving her the heavy sleeper trait lol but she's got a pretty clear personality and all her trait slots are spoken for. I'm 95% sure that wallpaper was these ones in case you were looking! www.tumblr.com/twentyfourfirst-sims/761789308445294592/motif-volume1-volume2?source=share
How do you deal with pink flashing in your game, your lots are so detailed with so much cc but your game seems to run so nice. I can't get my sims 2 to run for 20 minutes without pink flashing. i have the 4gb patch and stuff but it's still happening, do you have any advice?
I usually play with view distance small and I turn hood deco and neighbours off when I’m loading between lots, it seems to help! I turn the view distance up if I need more visibility in a screen shot. But I do still get my fair share of pink flashing, if you play with cc I think it’s somewhat unavoidable!
I watch your videos with interest and I think you can help me? My first problem is this: I only have 4.04 GB CC. I did many things like 4GB Patch a long time ago. I also allowed the game to use more RAM. But after the CCs that I recently installed that were only 47.4 MB, I started to experience the pink glow problem... It started especially in the house where there were a lot of items and the plant man... However, after this problem occurred, it continued if I entered other houses. It happened even if I closed and opened the game. I didn't play for a long time, but I often entered the house and went to the city screen... I always do this, it has never happened before. Could it be a CC? Do CCs cause the pink glow? Or is it due to the increase in My Documents folder and my CCs increasing in general as I play? My other problem is this: No matter what I do, in some areas, the counters do not become corners. The counter corners meet in a random different part of the house.. However, it does not happen in some areas... It does not make any difference whether the counter is normal or CC, half wall or normal wall. Could a CC be causing this? It used to break down before, but it would fix itself when I held the counters on the left and right again. I tried it in another city. It's fine. I think it's specific to Riverblossom Hills. What do you suggest for me in these matters?
Every computer set up will handle the game differently, the more CC the more likely pink flashing is but the threshold is different for everyone. Try turning hood deco and neighbours off in the graphics settings when loading between lots, and if you turn them back on while playing make the view distance small. Those things help sometimes. The counter corner thing usually happens when you place deco objects there sometimes I think? Just a weird glitch. I turn on move objects and just place another counter overtop to fill the gap!
@@88kayleigh Crashes occurred after CCs like "Sun&Moon Barnyard Bash, mushrooms, grapes, wild berry bushes", but not so much in lots where they were not used. But the pink flashing is new. And the corners of the counters merging or not merging in a random area is also new. I did not place any decorative objects. I didn't actually put anything on it and I didn't use the CC bench either. Twice, counters did not merge with the same fixed areas. Once, the counter did not merge in a different area. This could be a corner of the living room or the middle of the kitchen. But I had downloaded the invisible small counter, to make extra space, I thought this could do it. I played an older version that didn't have this problem, but had a folder in the download. Of course, after deleting this folder. But it happened again , this time at different points.
Ahh I love Japanese houses so much and it looks great!
This video is sooo relaxing 🥰
Thank you, that’s what I aim for!
Great build as always, I've been binge-watching your videos - hoping it'll make me better at floor planning! 😅
