That is one nice looking tub of copper there Buddy You certainly make it look like you have done this stuff before. LOL And to think they get hundreds for a vacuum with several dollars worth of recoverable materials. I think I was in the wrong career, should have been making something that sucks.
I've been wrestling sealed units for like 2 weeks now. I had like 30 of em.... Got me a nice pile of copper going in probably on Monday. Still have a pile of small motors to harvest also but I broke my harbor freight machete twice. Got quite a few of these motors in my pile. Ugh Love ur videos. All those motors were processed using the technique I learned here. Hopefully a nice cash out, should be well over 100lbs.
That’s really awesome! I was curious how well Harbor Freight machete would hold up, bummer! I should do a test on multiple machetes. Thank you so much for watching.
Right on. I keep hearing people say that no vacuums have copper motors, but I find quite a few, and obviously you do too, buddy. Do you remember a video I did with River bothering me to throw his toy? This was the same vacuum I was trying to scrap, but a different colour.
Yeah I’ve had pretty good luck with them. I don’t remember that one, but I can remember multiple videos of Banx bothering you 😂 Thank you for watching bud.
2 things❤ 1) I always strip vacuum power cords; especially when the motor is wound with aluminum. 2) More importantly, the "brushes" for any electric motor (so I'm told) are 60% silver! So I have a small growing collection of those carbon matrix bricks that I'll grind up and smelt down one of these days❤
From what I’ve read, most of them don’t contain silver, the ones that do, it’ll take thousands of them to even make a gram. But I don’t have any personal experience, so I don’t know for sure lol. Thank you for watching.
