Thanks for the detailed and easy video. Hit my 2018 Honda Civic to a trash can and the right side rear view mirror was completely damaged. Watched this video, bought the prying tools from Harbor Freight and mirror replacement. New mirror is successfully installed. Popping off the door panel is tricky. Do it gently from the bottom left as shown in the video. It is a smooth process after the panel is removed.
nice video... i have a question, can i use the wire harness from the civic Si on my civic coupe? my civic is 2016. the thing is that i got a side mirror with camera but the connector from the mirror has 11 pins and my stock mirror connector is smaller!!
I picked one up on eBay. It’s aftermarket, and comes with a standard black outer casing that can be painted or replaced to match your vehicle’s color, but it’s still much cheaper than the dealer.
@@ethanmolinar7030 Hey Ethan, I got the version without the camera actually. My Civic has the Sport trim. Not sure if it has software for the camera program or not.
I found this mirror to be extremely expensive just because of the camera. Do you think a regular sedan mirror will work? I don't mind losing the camera for now
Thank you for this! Saved me at least $400. When you hit a trashcan at 65 mph, usually the trashcan wins.
Luckily my civic mirror had the ability to fold to prevent damage, but it decided to explode instead... sigh
This is my exact situation right now😅
Well. This time it was a tree branch. Round two!

I broke the clip thing for the camera wires, but other than that ima certified Honda body shop thanks to you. Gone replace my bumper cover next. 💪🏾
You saved me 180$cad! Thanks for the video.
Thanks for easy video. Great for replacing the speaker, door panel cover, mirror and weather window strips.
You should also do a video of the Civic starter replacement for the 1.5 Turbo engine too.
Just reverse into a pole and broke the passenger mirror need ideas on how to replace it…thanks for the vid👍🏽
Thank you for this straight forward video. You saved us a ton of money in repairs!!!

The other wire, the one that's a little bit bigger, is that the wire for the sound system? For the little tweeter there?
Nervous. But will give it a try! Over 600 for dealership to replace on 2020
This video was of immense help, TYVM!!!
That was a good tutorial. Thank you for your help!
What is the name of that tool you used?
Is there a screw or something for the driver side because it seems stuck on the door handle
Does the battery need to be disconnected first? Just wondering because of the camera.
Thank you for making this video.
What’s the name

Appreciate the help
Where did you purchase yours from?

I have same color. Where can i buy replacment
Honda dealer in your area for factory color. Cheaper through car parts and to paint the cover.

That's exactly what I'm going to do, camera one is too expensive at the moment for me
Thanks bro
You don’t have to take off the door panel
Thanks man
Did you also reprogram the camera yourself?
I didn’t have to reprogram it.
