I can't afford any of these, but I really enjoy the stories and the playing!

How did I end up with so many Martin 0-18s. I now have a 1924 0-18 wolverine made by Martin, a 1928 0-18 and a 1935 0-18K made with Koa wood from Hawaii. Each one has a unique tone. My favorite now is the 1928. The tone of this guitar is truly amazing. Very well balanced and as they said they all fit into your lap very comfortably. The Martin Company line was that this 0-18 is the best guitar for all around enjoyment of a guitar. I totally agree!

      I have a 1923 0-18. I have eight 0-18's. 1923 to 1968. Great sounds. Enough for me. Try a 1950's model. Somewhat affordable.

    Thats my kind of guitar.
Very nice for blues and folk recordings, it always cuts through in a mix.
My favorite combination: A parlor or single O-model and a telecaster plugged in a tweed champ.

I have a 1951 0-18 and seven more. 1923 to 1968. Great tones. They used to be somewhat more affordable though my 1939 was pretty expensive.

Hey! I just picked up a 1961 0-18 in almost mint condition. Super excited! Getting it back from a neck reset next week and looking for a hard case. What case is that and do you recommend it? Thanks!!!

lets be honest here, i dont think many of us could/would just buy a vintage martin like that and have it "lay on the couch" as a casual guitar...

I find small body guitars sound better played fingerstyle.

Maybe but if they are good enough they carry more styles for softer pkayers
