- Metal detecting under water in the southern parts of Norway. Using a Minelab Excalibur II, with a Plugger straight shaft. In this (my first) video I am going back to a beach where I found one gold ring on each of my two previous visits. And no 3 where waiting on me ;-)
Great first detecting video !!!
That GOLD RING is a nice plus for your efforts !!!!
Your set-up for the EXCAL looks really good ..
Keep the video's coming !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice! Got to love seeing a yellow edge appear like that!
Well, if that was your first upload under water you did it extremely well. Congrats on your finds!
Very cool video and nicely done. Nice finds too. Super good looking gold ring!
GL&HH from Louisiana.
Mike
Really nice ring find, cool looking video too! It's awesome how you're responding to the comments in English and, I'm guessing Norwegian. Pretty cool!!
Thank you very much for the feedback. Short season here in Norway, but I will try to make few more, and improved ones, before the winter put a stop to it ;-) I guess I have 5-6 weeks before it gets to cold
That must be a warm suit you've got! Keep the videos coming ang goodluck on the finds
Hi Jeffrey. Some of the coins can have some collectors value. Especially the coins I find i fresh water lakes are in a very good shape. To be hones - I have been so busy lately - that I just dried them and put houndreds of these coins in a bag. But I think there is some goodies in there. I will check/sort them when the Winter arrives. Winter activity ;-)
Wow. This video was so clear! You should just make some underwater exploration videos. I would totally watch those.
Loved the shout when you got the ring! Congratulations nice find.
Regards
Mark
Thank you Mark :-)
Gold is good!...what a great sight it is to see it uncovered..
Appreciate those nice words Diggingrings. I guess you are the main inspiration for me to start making some videos as well. I have seen more or less all your videos. Great stuff. Sad to see today that you are stopping making them now. But most importantly; I hope your OK. And maybe/hopefully you will be back later?
Great video! Congrats on that nice ring. Cheers Doc
Nice ring! Looks like a fun dive.
The coins that you find. Any significant value. Some looked very old. Nice video. From Galveston,TX area. And the water here is murky brown salt water, no fun. More GL&HH!
Great job! Keep up the good work and keep the vids coming.
great first gold from under the sea :) subbed & enjoyed the video best of luck on your next hunt :)
Very nice!!! I enjoyed the video. Very well done. The ring is nice too. Looks like a lake you are diving in? Id like to see a closeup of how you put the light on the shaft. How long is the battery good for? I would need a battery that last 4+ hours.
Thank you Jimmy ;-) Yeah, I'll do my best with my elementary school english. We learn english for a few years at school here in Norway. And yeah, the other comments/answers are in Norwegian.
Hi there MeneertjeNielson. Thanks for the comment. Yes its legal in general. You just need the land owners permission.
Great stuff!
I like your videos pretty cool.

Hi there. I am searching in disc mode. 10" coil. No, its not Cold. I am using a drysuit with warm clothes underneath. 2-3 comfortable hours, no problem
Rå tøft! Håper du finner en skatt snart :D
Great video! Hope to see more.
Is it legal in Norway to search with a metaldetector? (in general, so not just under water)
We do as we wish 😂lol
Nice video...are you searching in discriminate or pinpoint? 10' or 8' coil? Man it must be cold
I like the videos, thank you for sharing. Is there any way you would be willing to take several pictures of the bag for me? I really like it and would like to find one. Thank you.
Great vid Kai :) Nice ring :) Are you diving the sea or a lake ?
Thank you. Diving both sea and lakes. This videos is in the sea.
Ok, thanks for reply, really cool video :) I am living in Danmark and I thought of diving & detecting too.. at this moment I only detect on land..
Se lige en post i fb grupper her:

Programmet ligger nå på youtube. Søk på "Danish digger" og se oversikt over hans videoer. Siste video lagt til. Mye annet bra der også ;-)

Do you u still own the Excalibur II?
I'm planning to buy my own one and im looking for long time experience with that!

Thanks bro, from Italy :D
Isn't the Etrac waterproof?
How is the water temp there?
how deep was the water?
@ Deep Digger Dan.... Buddy ain't got nothing on you man! When I get the money I will fully fund an expedition into underwater treasure hunting ok bro! Rebreathers in effect bro! Only thing we gotta do is get diving training so we don't get the-Bends
Mostly 3-5 feet deep
Are you from the area?
Yes. Holmestrand, Vestfold
@@KaiGarseg My wife's family is in Fevik by Grimstad and I spend a lot of time there, was thinking about bringing my detector on next visit. However, I would need to rent a drysuit and maybe gear depending on luggage room.
