I'd just go back to the patrol setup of filling the main tank... but if you want 2 separate systems for e85 I get it. Just adds complexity when having problems out in the mud in the middle of the night... you get it. As for the death wobbles, castor and castor bushes play a big part and the diff end bush on the pan hard.. it ends up with very little seat due to the taper on the diff mount. Also look at King pin bearings especially since it looks to have spent time in deep water/mud etc.
Thats one of those that when you tell the customer what was wrong with it you get that “ it was just a fuel filter why do you have 4hrs labor on it” then you say....because it took 3 days to find the problem...”but its a simple fuel filter” lol
Check out a Pollak 6 port valve to control a twin tank, twin pump fuel system. Can even wire in two fuel senders to the single gauge in the car. Might be easier/cheaper than the Toyota system you described.
I had my Father's car doing exactly the same thing and was the same thing the original filter had never been changed. Even though it was always send out to be serviced by Mazda. 🤣🤙👍🤘💯 Fuel filter Max
@@jmac822 watch the video again mate. Fuel filter was the first thing that was replaced, way back when the fuel pump was replaced. It was a faulty item out of the box, thats why it cause all of these issues. Wasn’t expecting that a brand new filter was going to be faulty….
Just a question why didn't you start with the filter as it's always my first port of call with fuel issue's as people forget to change them in servicing.

Rotate tyres first. Easiest way to tell if any front end problems without spending any real money or time
Theres a sub tank sender access under the rh rear seat

That's because it's not on the service schedule to do.
When my cars cough and splutter at odd times I always check the fuel filter first as it's the cheapest part to buy first😉👍
It was the part I bought first haha
@@BoostGumps yeah but should of been checked first. Actually should of had a new one fitted when the fuel lines were renewed before this.

It’s always the little things but we never think that lol

I did start with the filter? That was the whole point. Its the first thing I changed. The new one was faulty
Any reason you don't just run a transfer pump to pump the sub tank to the main tank? That's how I'm doing my ls patrol, its way simpler
Because I want to be able to have a tank of E and a tank of ULP without mixing fuels
I just blew up my gearbox in my daily it was only rebuilt 2 years ago wish it was only a 15 buck part....
If your tyres are out of balance even the smallest bit , it can cause death wobbles as I’ve found out before 🤦♂️
What brand of filter?
I could be wrong but I was pretty sure I seen Sakura in one of the shots
Yep! Sakura
Yewww
Just painful. 👎😑 Feel for you bro.
PS. Package is on the way. 😉👍
It always ends up being the stupidest thing you'd never have thought of, doesn't it? Like, every.single.time. 🤣😭
That be the truth mate
Boy I was upset about it haha soo much time wasted
Emotional damage!!!
