Wildfire Front Seat on-ride HD POV Silver Dollar City

- Like the other coasters at Silver Dollar City, this B&M sitter takes full advantage of the surrounding terrain. It has plenty of inversions, low sweeping turns & a cool train that looks more like the ones used on hyper coasters.
Watch in high definition.
I have been on many bm loopers and this still remains my favorite. It has the best trains of all, the inversions are smooth, and you do get airtime in this ride no matter were you sit.
my favorites kumba, but im going to ride this this year and i feel like it might get close with the whole lack of midcourse.
I just rode this yesterday for the first time. It's now my favorite roller coaster. The ride is smooth and plenty of inversions. Best part is the views you get to take in while on the ride. Beautiful.
40 times in a row... And it STILL never gets old!
I was just barely at the minimum height the year when this came out. It was the first roller coaster I had ever been on that went upside down. It took me about an hour to talk myself into riding it, but once I did, I became hooked. I think it was the same year my 70 year old grandmother took me and she couldn't get enough of it either.
you proubly made your decision in line wait to get on geez its like an hour all the time
Dirty Lizard I went to Six Flags over Texas last Thursday on July 19 and the line to all the roller coasters was a small line and it lasted a short time to get on them
Same here, except make it my friends and family trying to convince me for several years. Lol
And compared to other coasters at parks like Cedar Point the wait time is short, usually a half hour wait. Worth it tho.
I had to watch this because when we dropped I closed my eyes....
Brie Noelle lol same
Same 😂
Really, this is a more mild roller coaster. Yeah, itit's tall, and goes upside down a lot, but it's not as extreme as many other roller coasters like Outlaw Run.
Me too!
I love how smooth this rides. That's a typical trait of B&M, I'm looking forward to their new winged coaster at Cedar Point next year!
I am too!
The smoothest roller coaster I've ever been on.
That's an understatement.
I love this ride! It was the first roller coaster that went upside down I rode!
Love my wildfire it's even better in the dark
I wish I could ride at night.
This is such a fun ride! My favorite coaster at SDC, by far. It is so fun and thrilling, and Evey time I find myself sad when it pulls back up to the station.
Love this coaster and can't wait for The Outlaw Run!!
'Before going on this I was freaking out but when I got on it it wasn't that bad and then afterwards we went on Powder Keg and I thought that was a kiddie ride but once I go on it I realized what it was and Powder keg is probably one of the scariest roller coasters I've been on.
Powderkeg is the worst ride at SDC I even like owtlaw run more than it and I hate going upsidedown
Writing and Art rlly? It’s my favorite lol
Yeah powder keg can give you a bit of whiplash but thats what makes it fun 👍🏼
You should see outlaw run that one is INSANE
Powder keg gives you the worst whiplash
I rode this and that first drop put my stomach into places its never been before. Other than that very fun ride, will ride it again :)
The smoothest roller coaster I have ever ridden. Fantastic!
This is the funnest ride ever. If you go to silver dollar city you need to ride it.
That’s the best roller coaster ever I went on a week ago and i loved it
NGB-Dean Outlaw Run is at the same park so how?!
Love the stop at the end!
Wildfire, powder keg, and outlaw run are my favorites
My favorites are Time Traveler, Powder Keg, and Outlaw Run.
This was my first B&M. I can't wait to ride it again next year. The camera was right be fore the main drop when I first rode it though, and not 1/2 way through.
I rode this like 4 times in a row, but my mom didn't know I was still in that area and the park security found me, thinking I was missing. Totally worth it.
@unkemptsnugglepepper4398, I bet you got in trouble after having your mom worry, didn't you? That happened to two of my friends in 8th grade at Hershey Park in 2005. The boy was on a ride and the girl went to find him without telling my teachers and they didn't come back to the bus when they were supposed to. They both got suspended ☹️. Fun day for me, bad ending for them.
my first upside down rollercoaster, brings back sooooo many memories :'( ...i
0:58 Truly spectacular view (especially at sunset) turns into RIDICULOUS floater air. That is why I love this ride.
the view is amazing as well. before the epic drop you can see for what seems like next state. i rode this 40 times one after it was built
I know. The view is amazing, but I didn't appreciate it until the second time I rode it because it just made me think of how high I was, and how I was about to drop all the way down.
i live 2 hours from branson and this is my fav roller coaster!!!!! i have road it ten times in a row!!!!!and im 12!
this was actually the first rollercoaster i rode that had an inversion lol. amazing experience! the first drop left me speechless.
The views are amazing!
What a pleasantly different layout aside from the typical B&M loop, dive loop/immelmann, zero-g-roll, cobra and corkscrew/wingover style layouts.
Rode it over 50 times in my life. Classic.
Thanks bro :D. Im goin there soon. Cant wait.
Very short. With 2 trains going, the lines go quick. And being a short ride helps, too. If you go during a week day (not Saturday), you can ride this coaster 4-5 times within a single hour. Not bad. It's a great, smooth ride. One of my favorites.
This Coaster Is The Best One At Silver Dollar City. I've Rode It At Least 3 Times Every Time I Go There And I've Been There 10 Times
Man this coaster was awsome! Just rode it the other day.
I'm going to Branson in a week and we are suppose to go to Silver Dollar City! This is what I want to ride so I hope we go!Super excited!!
i rode this yesterday!! best ride at silver dollar city!!!!!
This ride is so fun!! Been going here since I was 6 months! (I'm 12) it never gets old! In going to SDC this Sunday!! Can't wait to ride it with my cuz who has never ridden it!! I wanna see her reaction to outlaw run!! I have like ridden it 50 times lol ;)
WildFire, Dragon Khan, The Hulk Coaster, Kumba and Time Machin are the only B&M sitters in the world! I've been on Dragon Khan, Hulk and Kumba. I really want to go on this!
this ride is incredible
I rode this in the rain last week. It was absolutely wicked. xD
wow! a b&m coaster without a mid brake run! thats a first! nice cars btw they look better than the original sitdowns.
So excited to go here in March!
I love all the rides, i'm a big guy, but I fit. I'm going tomorrow, can't wait!
this was my first roller coaster oh my God
omg same
A terrain mega looper with no mid course brake, looks awesome! Cept for that brake at the bottom of the first drop...
looks like an awesome coaster! love B&M
This is a REALLY great (and smooth) ride. Can't wait for the new woodie (Outlaw Run) to open up at SDC this year.
i just rode this ride like today and it is beastly and awesome
I love Wildfire!! I find it to be VERY intense due to it's location on the mountain!! It was my first B&M sitter as well!!
i couldnt face my fears until like 2 days ago. i finally rode powderkeg and it was so fun!
My first b&m coaster and i loved it!! I wanna go back
Yeehaw! WildFire is an AWESOME Multi-looping coaster, even though I love Outlaw Run!!!
A great ride - very, very smooth.
This was my first slc and it’s probably my favorite coaster
Oot spagoot What do you mean with SLC? SLC is a terribly rough coaster model by Vekoma
This ride looks so freaky, but it really is not lol. I would suggest it for kids! It is so smooth and friendly. I love it! (but if you really want a thrill, go to CedarPoint :D)
This ride i think is supposed to be like a floorless. Its got the bars in the beginning that swing out, its seats are raised so youre feet dont touch the floor, and they are also tilted back more then other B&Ms
Silver Dollar City is just outside of Branson Missouri. Road this thing and loved it.
I went on it and I was freaked out at first though
hi all. anybody whose rode this, should i ride it? i like powder keg and outlaw run, but this one.. im scared of lol
Hey I've rode this several times and it's not that bad. Outlaw Run imo is way worse. I rode this one the first time at 10:30 at night it was pitch dark and I had no idea what was going on lol. You should definitely ride it!
ok i think im gonna do it and thanks :)
I just rode this one today. It seems bad, but it's actually more tolerable and just as fun as Powderkeg and Outlaw Run. You should definently give it a try!
ok! plan on riding it :P
thanks
RpgilbertRS Why Not?
I rode on it when I went to silver dollar city
A great, great ride!!!
Dollywood was once named "Silver Dollar City Tennessee" and was a sister park to Silver Dollar City. In 1986, Dolly Parton became a co-owner of Dollywood hence the name change.
Thanks for the info
"Welcome wildfire riders, please step all the way across your row to the farthest empty seat...
NEW FAVORITE RIDE! * o * Such a thrill! If you are scared, it is way worse in video. It is so awesome! Just rode it today ;) ( first time i rode it ^--^ )
my friend is goin th Silver Dollar City for her bday and shes taking along me and another friend...ive NEVER ridin this ride..i was always to scared to xD but im realy excited to go..and this gonna b the 1st ride we ride :D
this is my fav rollercoaster!
Holy crap this thing does a lot in such a short amount of time.
check out Dragon Kahn. Same type of ride, way more insane
dollywood actually used to be a silver dollar city!! blazing fury was one of their rides i believe.im not sure but i do know that it was silver dollar city
Those are some beautiful Ozark mountains in Branson Missouri.
@Jack Hex
No problem man! Enjoy! The only thing is, if the Powder Keg is broken down (which is a 60% chance) expect long lines on the Wildfire. The first day I went, the Powder keg was up and running. So when I went to the wildfire, it took about 3 minutes to get into a middle seat. And 5 minutes for a front seat. So I kept getting on it. But the second day I went, the Powder Keg was down the whole day, so the Wildfire line was about a 15 minute wait:(
It's a short one, but it's definitely thrilling and intense. One of the best rides in the park.
my face was priceless on this ride my forst time
I rode for first time today xD I was shaking in fear but it is my favorite now, quite a thrill huh? ^--^
On my aunts first time (also mine) she cussed like a sailor, funniest thing ever! XD
Kate Doz Gamez spoge Bob
COASTERFORCE..................i freakin love you
Love this ride!!! 3 times better during moonlight madness though
This ride breaks down all the time
Dolly Parton also owns the Dixie Stampede there in Branson, a dinner/arena rodeo thing show there in the same town.
Whenever I watch videos of amazing roller coasters like this one I think of two words: metal fatigue
I rode wild fire last month it is the first roller coaster I went on when you do the cork screw you cant breath or scream I literally passed out 😵
It would be awesome if this was converted into a floorless coaster
But B&M sit-down coasters are rare
i agree
If you're short enough it is a floorless coaster XD
Nah, the standard B&M sit down is better for this. The seats are better and the visual appeal is better imo.
I went to Magic Mountain today and rode Scream, practically identical to Wildfire and made by the same company and Scream doesn’t have a floor, but it was horrible. Totally not as smooth as Wildfire.
Going there for spring break!
i so remeber riding this. best ride ever. the only part i didnt like is that my mom and step dad wussed out on me so i had to ride it with people i didnt know. but at least the people were nice
I'm going to be riding this some time this week. well I plan to
When I rode a couple weeks ago, the trims didn't grab at all. They're not annoying trims like some.
This was the first coaster I ever rode besides the splash mountain in disney world.
@JiGe96
Alpengeist also don't start with a loop, but with an Immelmann also. Along with Dragon Challenge and some others.
this was posted on my birthday
I wanna ride it too it is finished in august its gonna be awesome!
I just got back from branson mo about an hour ago.. i rode wildfire 6 times i rode powder keg 3 times and thunderation 1 time and the barn swings 1 time so fun i go all the time because i live like 3 hours away!!
looks like a classical, great b&m ....
That's nice to hear!
I was too scared to ride this last time... But next time I will do it!!!!!!
@megacoasterfan The Feeling of a Twisted Coaster is great. You don`t know if your normal or upside down :D It`s great.
@HahaBonana don't worry,it is very fun and not as scary as you think, the upside down moment goes off quickly...
Bigger - it is a hyper coaster, so it goes faster, but the Mamba does not have loops like the WildFire does in Branson.
I just rode this yesterday!!!
My favorite ride! ☺️
Me too! I rode it for the first time today ;)
i love this ride, my fav
@Jack Hex
Fucking yes! Get on this ride! I was there a couple days ago and I rode it 4 times withing 10 minutes. The lines were short and the ride is so smooth. Totally worth it. Also you should check out the Powder Keg.
i live 30 mins away from here :)
@frenchfrey65 Totally, I live near Chicago and will heading down to SDC soon and hope that color scheme looks as true to iron wolf's as it does in this video.
Wow, a B&M that doesn't start with a loop! That's rare.
The lift hill sounds almost exactly like Roller Coaster Tycoon 2.
