Elimination race
This race is carried out through direct elimination of one or more skaters at one fixed point of
the race course. The Chief Judge communicates the elimination rules before starting of the race.
One lap before each sprint, at the passing of the finish line by the lead skater, the
bell will sound.
The eliminated skater is determined by the last point of the last skate to cross the
finish line

Really beautyfull race from colombian skater!! Love for my italian champions as Well.
The video direction doesn't suit this format of the sport. Elimination races are mostly about the fights at the BACK of the pack. Why show the leaders throughout the race? Made it difficult to follow any eliminations especially at the beginning.

@@manuelcarrascalmantilla3876 amigo el patinaje ya era popular en los países desarrollado, mucho antes que en Colombia, solo para ponerte en contexto la primera competencia mundial fue en los 60s y Colombia entro 10 años después en el 71, solo cano su primera medalla en los 80s y recién inicio a ser primera siempre en el mundial del 2005, la potencia hegemonica del deporte hasta la llegada que Colombia se puso fuerte era Italia y los estados unidos, de echo Italia tiene 7 títulos mundiales es el segundo más ganador y esos titulos los ganó antes de que Colombia fuera dominante, sin tener en algún momento Korea del sur le arrebato el título a Colombia cuando este país ya estaba consolidado, otro dato importante es que el deporte no es olímpico sencillamente porque no en África es poco popular, solo para ponerte en contexto en el último mundial ningún país africano asistió.
