Pete and crew thank you so much for this episode. Working on the river and watching this video makes the day go by faster. Thank you RIVER KINGS GOD BLESS
Almost like the river makes you pay for a great campsite. I have had many muddy stinky campsites one night only to find a small paradise the next. A trend that often continues on all my trips. That rock garden is a beautiful spot!
I love the camera view on the kayak when you slide it into the water and set off for the day. Makes me feel like I'm setting off with you! Your videos inspired me and my friends to take up backpacking (currently section hiking the OHT), and to take up yak-packing. Our group has grown to a dozen and we can be found adventuring the Buffalo River in AR every spring. Thanks for the content!
The videography and imagery of this video I think is the best yet. Thank you so much for sharing the video with all of us paddling vicariously with you.
One way to measure a man is by how his friends feel towards him, and I can tell your friends appreciate and enjoy just being in your company. Excellent video and excellent group of guys! cant wait to see what's next for all of yall!
Next up source to deep river confluence rocky river? That’s one I’d be really curious about. Need a lot of rain, but in my opinion it’d be a real hit. I have a feeling there are some undocumented good rapid spots in there not to mention the known good ones.
What a beautiful ending to another wonderful adventure. I love all the aerial footage watching these videos gives me so much peace in my heart getting to see nature.
That was a fun adventure to watch. I'm sure it was laborious at times, but that final perfect campsite, peaceful scenery and the fond memories with friends usually make it all worth it. Great vid as always!
Before I move on to the next episode, I must say this has been a great trip. Obstacles will always reveal themselves in various forms, how you overcome them defines oneself. Last night I made it halfway through this & had to get some shut eye. I'm so glad to have subscribed to your channel. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say, well, does 20 fit in to the equation? Now I have to backtrack & check out all your vids from beginning to current. Be safe, God bless, have a good one guys!!
I missed the livestream, driving through St Louis. Sitting in a hotel in Poplar Bluff Missouri on my way to pick up boat in Little Rock. Looked like a good trip, regardless of the portages.
Hey Pete, is it common to see 14ft on rivers in the southeast? I love my 12ft Dagger Axis for rivers, it’s almost brand new… but these videos are making me regret not getting the Stratos instead! Was worried about how a 14ft would handle sharp turns in smaller rivers around here.
Hey Andre! It is not uncommon. The Stratos would be a great choice while you keep your eyes out for the Yukon unicorn...If you cannot find a Yukon, I recommend the Stratos.
We talk about it from time to time...I paddled up Snow's Cut to the inlet and then out to Carolina beach and then paddled south about a mile from the inlet. Surfed a wave in to my buddy's place and called it a day! We dont usually repeat the long trips as there are sooo many rivers to paddle and such a short life to do it in!
I hear that but you know better than me that rivers are never the same they are constantly changing. Was just curious because it's one I have thought about doing because I could actually paddle home lol. You mention it in your videos and you have done a part of it here and there since then. Good to hear from you, hope you have a great holiday season and looking forward to your next videos.
@@robertyingling2150 I really wish I had a gopro back then...my wife bought me my first gopro right after that trip as I had only stories and no footage.
Hey I love your videos I've been forcing my girlfriend to watch them for quite a while even though she says she doesn't like them every time she hears a ding she yells swimmer. I've been searching all over to try to find a green version of your kayak. Also if you don't mind what solar panel do you use to keep your batteries charged

dude your videos is too much long, netflix have series tinny than this. think about cut in minor parts or make just important parts because i dont wanna watch if are bigger
Hey Lucas. If you dont like long videos, then this may not be your channel. I like to tell the story and I cannot do that in a short video. The good news is that there are literally millions of channels out there. Im sure you can find one that suits your tastes!

Thats a good one Tanya!!
I love learning the names of y'all's boats! I have a small fleet myself and their names are: Rosie Queen of Corona, Miss B. Haven, and the Big Dipper.
Right on Red Flame!
Only thing the series is missing is about 1M more views. Just Awesome fellas!

That sounds fun, albeit, hard to plan as that river needs rain to make it go...Thanks Zachariah!
This one was an epic series for sure. Each adventure gets better and better, and a big part of what got me into the longer river trips.
Thank you James! That is awesome!
I'm really you guy's adventures video on the NC rivers. I lived at Durham, nc. Hope someday I could join with you guys on river kayaking adventure.

At the end of the day always remember and never forget. Always get the gas station burritos not the burgers.

What an adventure! Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see the next one. Are you planning any winter trips?
Thanks Phil! We paddle year round and I do have a couple ideas for a winter trip or two...
Have you ever thought about doing the Cape Fear river source to sea again? Where did you end the trip at ? Just curious because I live in Southport NC
