Hi Joe, I watch all your videos - I find I understand what you say more than any one else. I am trying to find how I profile my printer with my old ColorChecker Colormunki Display. I have downloaded iStudio and every other x-rite program. and have no trouble profiling my monitor - but the printer calibration...I just can't find the right program! The one that came close was iProfiler...gets to the point where it tells me to press the start button...but there IS NO START BUTTON anywhere on the page. I am about to give up. Anyways - keep up the great presentations. Any advice you can give me would be appreciated. Fred Wyers
hi what system for calibration would you recommend ? I have apple I mac late 2012 27 inch and pixma pro 1 printer and looking best software to calibrate my monitor
Hi Joe Thanks for these wonderful and super educational videos firs the info you give is so full Can you please mention and make a video about profiling and using Non Original Inks for some large size printers I have been dealing with printing for long time but as many other photographers who did not invested Yet in Large size Printer with HUGE tanks where the inks are relatively well prices vs Smaller Tanks for seven some large size printers isnt is obvious for all photographers that is better to buy more expensive printer since it comes with bigger tanks for example Canon sells the same inks but if you make the mat in ml litters you see the bigger the tank the cheaper the ink I went to even replacing my inks for 15- 20 printers canon with Bulk inks 70 $ to 100$ per gallon not very good quality but for what i do enough however i want to max the quality of the print by color profiling cheap ink to specific papers i dont believe canon Hp even Epson when they say about their ink dont want to sound stupid but common the difference between super cheep inks for canon vs original canon is over 1000 times in price is it the quality 1000 better and if know what is the sweet spot Please i begg you to hear your opinion on that or if you can say about these idea ( prifiling cheaper inks and testing quality and even longevity) thanks so much keep doing the best work your best fan Ivan Ivanov

Hi Joe
Thanks for these wonderful and super educational videos firs
the info you give is so full
Can you please mention and make a video about
profiling and using Non Original Inks
for some large size printers
I have been dealing with printing for long time but as many other photographers who did not invested Yet in Large size Printer with HUGE tanks where the inks are relatively well prices vs Smaller Tanks for seven some large size printers
isnt is obvious for all photographers that is better to buy more expensive printer since it comes with bigger tanks
for example Canon sells the same inks but if you make the mat in ml litters you see the bigger the tank the cheaper the ink
I went to even replacing my inks for 15- 20 printers canon with Bulk inks 70 $ to 100$ per gallon
not very good quality but for what i do enough
however i want to max the quality of the print by color profiling cheap ink to specific papers
i dont believe canon Hp even Epson when they say about their ink
dont want to sound stupid but common the difference between super cheep inks for canon vs original canon is over 1000 times in price
is it the quality 1000 better and if know what is the sweet spot
Please i begg you to hear your opinion on that or if you can say about these idea ( prifiling cheaper inks and testing quality and even longevity)
thanks so much
keep doing the best work

How do we profile a monitor , paper for a fine art B&W or Platino type color print ?
I got bored. However, your monitor and calibration is EVERYTHING.
I spend too much time every time I add a new printer or computer, there has to be an easier way.
pro tip: you can watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Ahmed Matias Yea, been using Flixzone for years myself =)
