Ok I legitimately understand the satisfaction of beating a boss without great weapons and stats, but sometimes I think there needs to be a point where he should just come back to it later, like the ringmaster. Like you spend 7 hours without beating it and getting a consistent phase 2 should probably be a hint that it is just not happening right now.

After 9 hours of dying to her on my own playthrough I respec'd to a katana bleed build and got her first try.
This fight took me so much longer so props to him

its hard for me to imagine someone having this much trouble with the boss
I defeated her with frost bleed dual wield twin blades, moonlight greatsword, spell only, fully charged heavy attack only, and straight sword and shield, I never used summons or co-op and every one of them took more than 20 attempts but how can it be so hard to come up with a more consistent approach?
I'm not saying he's bad, many players take even longer to defeat her with better builds but I still don't understand
Eric resolutely refuses to do anything anyone tells him or to learn from anyone else. This combination of wilful ignorance and spite has resulted in a woefully inadequate stat spread and the development of several very bad gameplay habits that he desperately needs to unlearn, but won't purely because other people keep telling him to do so.
@@fable23 yep, exactly. Kinda sad because most people who have trouble here just respec. He could keep the same weapons and such but his stats are soooo bad. I beat her my 1st time with the bloodhound fang so it can be done but I had 60 vigor and it felt too low. I was also around the same level as him so he has a ton of wasted stats.
