By far one of THE most underrated country singer songwriters out right now.
Truth! I bet he would be a good southern rock singer too. I’ve always wanted to hear him sing a Skynyrd song cause I think his voice sounds like Ronnie Van Zant’s
@@BlackAndGoldAllTheWay He does a mix of country southern rock. I really love his stripped-down sound on the black creek album. I still can't believe it never picked up more traction. Especially after the reaction to Oliver Anthony and Tyler Childers. Cobb is easily just as good as them, if not better. I enjoy more of his music than theirs to be honest.
@@grandtheftautolabs3439 yessir! I don’t know how he isn’t bigger than he is! He does his own version of George Jones “white lighting” and it’s a fuckin banger probably my favorite by him and Soapbox!
@@BlackAndGoldAllTheWay My guess is he's a real good ol boy from Georgia. I got kin about a mile from his house, they used to go to his acoustic sessions at a little wine bar up the road. Nashville is full of hick libs. Brent Cobb is the real deal. They probably know he won't sell his soul. He's got more talent than most will ever know.
@@BlackAndGoldAllTheWay The first two times I saw him live in Athens, GA, he sang Swamp Music by Lynyrd Skynyrd and it was so awesome. He and his band sure know what they are doing.
