Energica motorcycles give you a wide array of settings to choose from, in order to tailor the motorcycle to your needs and riding style. This video is about the traction control settings, another very useful and very important feature to know before getting started.
Press and hold the button on the left-hand switchgear to access the Traction Control Screen. Level 1 is the less invasive map and Level 6 provides the greatest degree.

Sounds like I should be using higher settings for slick roads (if the road has a bit of dirt, gravel, etc), but what is the advantage of lower settings?
