They do more tricks than actual dancing so really, that was to be expected. She probably didn't even know exactly what counts as a trick and what doesn't. Everyone but Kalani, Kendall and that one blonde girl (sorry, I don't know her name) did at least one trick.

You can’t blame Kenzie she can only do tricks Abby doesn’t teach her lyrical or any other dance styles she just shows her tricks like Kenzie only does acro
Abby taught Kenzie way more than acro and tricks. She just only gave her solos with tricks and acro, likely because that's her strongest suit and is most likely to win.
Kenzie is just not comfortable doing improv. She never has been.
