WOW!!!! What a paradise!.. I love tillys!!! I could stay all day and just look at them!. If I lived there, this nursery would definitely be one of my must stop and shop spots!! 💜😊💜 Thank you so much for sharing your tour!..
Such a wonderful video. To be honest I keep killing off my air plants, I was ready to give up on them but now after watching this…I’m so excited to keep going. Thanks Again.
Air plants is Alien.Just mesmarizing. Its Amazing to see how a plant grow without soil or water, which is the most important component. This plant stands out for me.Its like beyond the laws of Plants 😁.. but loved it.
Oh My GAAAWWWWDDDD....!!! 💚💚💚💚💚 I never see a lot of air plants type in that quantities, in one place... thank you for sharing this with us, Sean... 😁👍🙏
0:55 "They come from all over the world" - No sorry, correction: They're native to the Americas (concentrated around Central America). They're now _available_ throughout the world. Also,. this nursery is amazing! Thank you for showing it.
Thank you so much for the correction. I was actually conflicted because I heard on a reputable podcast that they were from Central S America and theres actually only a handful of species in existence, wherelse the diversity we enjoy now are mostly hybrids. But I was corrected by someone at that nursery 😅
That was a nice surprise 😍 my Mum has a big clump of air plants that I keep trying to take home with me... she wont let me because they take so long to grow! So pretty. I love your appreciation and enthusiasm for them. I bet Gia is missing you and will be very happy to see you when you return.... something else Mum has that I keep trying to take home, 2 mini Dachshunds. Such characters 😍
This video was perfectly timed! I just got my first air plants and want to give them the best care so they grow big and beautiful too! How amazing that nursery was. So many beautiful and unique plants!
Yes I agree.. i dont know why.. Balinese people always make the best arrangement .. their garden, the interior design, the cafe.. always looks nicer than anyplace.
What an great tallandsisa place. Love it!! Love them 💚 I have a couple I put on top of soil of other plants an they grew roots an one has put out a baby. Thanks for taking us along 💚😀
I have never seen so many tillandsias in one place, oooh how beautiful! Thank you Sean for sharing this wij us. I don't have any tillandsia at home, but now I'm going to buy some..🙂
Just as I was wondering what kind of variety I'd find in "air plants", since I have managed to keep most of the first lot I bought on eBay last spring. I can grow anything outside, but I am a serial killer when it comes to house plants. Your video has given me all kinds of ideas for turning my Northern Michigan cabin into a tropical garden❤
Cool tour 🤩 idky somehow i feel very happy watching these kind of video. Used to go to nursery every now and then but due to covid cant do that anymore now in my country 😭
Yesterday I have repotted my Phil Brazil with a mix of coconut husk pieces, charcoal, perlite, vermicompost, soil. i had planted that in soil only before and after one year leaf size became very small. Then I saw ur video on adensonii I think. Anyways got the idea of changing potting mix after seeing one of your video. 😊
I love this and I love how creative they are with the mounting! Such a beautiful tillandsia nursery. I disagree though that the care for all of them is the same. I learned (the hard way) that some (esp the very thin leaf ones, my nemesis) require much more watering while some (the bulbous ones with lots of crannies for water to get trapped in (even with a fan blasting on them) which you don’t notice for months) you have to be much more careful with soaking and avoid getting water at so they don’t overwater, esp in the humid weather. Love your videos btw, a lot of your videos have helped me a lot, especially when a lot of tips online are more centric to four season countries, whereas I also hail from SEA a very hot and humid place :)
I’m ready getting into air plants. Some people say not to use wire to display them? But now I see that it can be used. I have several bonsai have always used copper wire so according to this video it’s perfectly fine do use the wire. Thanks for the video.
I love love love your videos. And I have seen pretty much all videos. I learn so much and makes my day better. Ps. When you say you are broke or say you are poor, even thought want to seem as you are humble in which is appreciated, and we know you are the best plant RUclipsr, PERIOD! 🫶🏻 fyi, you dont have you repeatedly repeat it in every video. Brings the good vibes you have down. Love u and just wanted to say that.
Whoaaa thank you for writing in and letting me know. Thats very honest. I actually didnt give much thought whenever I say it, and did not mean to be whiny. If there ever was an intention, it was meant to create a relatable story that many others feel too. But your reminder is great and I appreciate you so much for it ❤️
Hey Sean great video as always. I have a question. I live in Athens Greece and I have two tilandsias ionanthas. I bought them 14 months ago but they don't do anything. They barely grow. They are definitely alive but I am wondering if I do sth wrong. I keep them in a bathroom with southfacing window, so they receive a lot of light and more humidity because of the bathroom. I water them once every week maybe sometimes depending the temperature once every two weeks. But I don't really fertilize them... do you have any suggestions? Thank you
I would fertilize for sure. But sometimes its hard to notice them growing haha. They are so dang slowww. I only notice growth when I compare 1 year old photos
May I know where exactly the nursery located? I stay in Bali for a decade but unfortunately I have never heard there is a tillandsia world. May I know the name of the nursery too?
My nursery could take some styling advice from these guys. They stack the air plants in a cart like produce.🤨🤨 So not imaginative ! I rescue some when I’m shopping and they are thriving on my patio👍🏻
They usually outgrow the glue, new roots would grip the surface its on. But yes it does sound a bit unsettling and probably uncomfortable for the plant… I wonder if we could stick it with rice instead…
Je reviens de chez tria garden , extrêmement cher ! Je vis partiellement à Bali depuis 20 ans , je n’avais pas vu une telle « skintax » depuis longtemps !! Fascinating. I’m looking around my place to see where I cut put air plants. Or even hanging plants. Thanks.

Sweet, yeah it makes sense that the fat ones have stored up water and wouldnt want to be watered frequently 😀
I’m ready getting into air plants. Some people say not to use wire to display them? But now I see that it can be used. I have several bonsai have always used copper wire so according to this video it’s perfectly fine do use the wire. Thanks for the video.
I cant remember which metal it is… but the owner said one of the metals is actually harmful for them.
Best place in Denpasar for tilandisia & garden supplies!
What a testimony!
Start your own nursery Sean, quick..... then you can collect all your favourite plants n also sell some.
Its already running for 2 months 😀
Around 8:04, those are Bulbosa!

My ma'am favorite airplant like that
Wow
Aren't they related to Bromeliads? The single flower and pupping sounds very familiar..
Haha, nevermind. You said that later in the video 🙃

@@onlyplants then I will start taking pictures hahaha. Thank you for your advices. 😁
Oooo! Love it, are they selling them in the nursery?
Yeahhh they are
I love them so much. BUT HOW ON EARTH DOES HE WATER THEM i THOUGHT YOU HAD TO TURN THEM UPSIDE DOWN TO DRAIN? I killed so many but I keep trying .
If outdoors with good airflow its ok to just hose them down. A puddle of water here dries up in 10 minutes 😅
Inwant to go to Bali ssoo bad..the plants tours alone
May I know where exactly the nursery located? I stay in Bali for a decade but unfortunately I have never heard there is a tillandsia world. May I know the name of the nursery too?
Its behind tria garden, a garden supply store 😀 you can find it on google maps

I never thought air plant varieties are this extensive! Just imagine if they start ham on breeding variegated ones
🤤
Bonjour ,
Je lis Tria garden , une adresse spécifique pour les tillandsias?
Merci
The tillandsias are located directly behind tria garden shop. 😀
Ok je n’étais jamais rentré dans cette jardinerie. Merci 🙏
❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️
We have cactus that die after they bloom but the pups are amazing..sad but cool.cycle
You must come to my City in Celebes South Sulawesi .in Makassar or TORAJA
Toraja is in my bucket list
💚💚💚
💚💚
I cringe at the thought of gluing any plant. I would never do that. Those bonsai wire holders on the other hand are fabulous!!!
They usually outgrow the glue, new roots would grip the surface its on. But yes it does sound a bit unsettling and probably uncomfortable for the plant… I wonder if we could stick it with rice instead…
That's what you get for living in a tropical climate.

Y venden a España?🇪🇦
Im not sure but you can ask them
On instagram 😀 the contact is in the video description
