I was sweating but at 40 minutes left in the event and a million eggs hatched this weekend and in LA I FINALLY got the chatot. I ended up with five shiny squirrels and two carnavines but I was never so happy to see that shiny bird, haha.
My day was... okay yesterday. To understand, it was COLD in Ottawa (like -10C + windchill) and my local raiding community decided to go downtown (which I, uh, started because I wanted to go downtown for the hell of it), so I ended up doing a lot of raids and not a lot of shiny checking. I did end up with five shinies: Bidoof (which I got from research in the first hour, and I got so mad I threw it into my stack, which I had to fetch later), a blue Shellos, Origin Dialga (80% stats, but I picked Diamond, so move for me!), Hisuian Growlithe, and I hatched a Chatot. However, I also got two hundos: Hisuian Growlithe and Mesprit(!). Fs in the chat for finding out my autocatcher failed to catch a shiny Azelf in the wild. :( (I got my second shiny Azelf on Wednesday, so I'm not too mad about that, but still. Angrier about the shiny costumed Pikachu that ran though)
Honestly got mixed feelings so far on the tour. I played the entire day almost and got maybe 9 shinies, a few duplicates of things I didn’t need, but really hoped the newer spawns would have better rates
Got about 12 shinies. Mostly Pikachu but found shiny uxie in wild, hisuian sneasel from research, and chatot from egg. Got all the regionals shiny from La and global
If you picked Dialga you got shadow Scicor and Honchcrow. Haven't seen much talk about it. Definitely feel like those 2 are the better shadows. Got me a 98 on both, back to back 😅
Got myself 2 shiny pachirisu and shiny carnivine. Also hatched a shiny hisuain qwilfish and chingling. Eggs this time around were really good for once. Along with a bunch of shinies.
Hello people, did you find it "easy" to catch the wild lake guardians? I haven't played any other event with wild legendaries, so I cannot compare it with anything, but I was under the impression that the trio was goin to be very hard to catch and that they were going to flee all the time. All in all, I caught almost all that I saw (they were not shinies). Was it like that for the rest of you? I'm really happy with it, so I'm obviously not complaining at all :)
For everyone wondering, only pikachu, starters, basculin & the hisui pokemon were boosted. Aside from the normal perma boost (stunky, lickitung, gible etc) EVERYTHING else was full odds.
Not a good tour because it's raining heavily here these two days luckily could still play a bit from the car. Good around 10 shinies, one shiny origin Dialga after the event is over and a shadow hundo honchcrow.
9:35 actually, I had a friend of mine encountered a shiny uxie in the wild yesterday, he threw 2 ultra balls at it, then it ran. He owns an auto catcher but it was turned off before encountering the Pokémon. He was later compensated for one raid pass. Really? A raid pass? Disappointed in niantic for that.
I feel like this tour was a nice balance between no shiny boost and too much shiny boost, didn’t feel the need to try hard but the event wasn’t boring neither

I had the best Sinnoh tour I could possibly get. I got 35 shinies, including a shundo pikachu with Lucas’s hat off an incense. It was my first shundo ever. My grandma got a shundo origin palkia 2 days before I got my shundo pikachu.
The Basculin gender matters in the evo, the basculegion changes color depending on the gender :) amazing video as always, I got 0 unowns but I got almost everything else I wanted, great event, even though I could basically only play one day.
It was alright (I’m a remote play :( ) and weren’t we supposed to get a free encounter with out legendary? I had to buy a remote raid ticket with money instead of coins to complete it
Got 16 shinies day 1 and honestly i’m stoked! I didn’t get any repeat or community day shinies- all were hits like 3/4 Pikachus, full set of Hisuian Sneasel and Growlith, plus a Qwilfish, Mesprit, and a lot of ones I needed for my collection like Cherubi! So i’m pretty happy with this event and especially it being a free event this time around. I didn’t hatch many eggs but I did get a hundo baby Budew as a bonus!
Got 12 shinies in 2 days(playing without a group and basically sitting on a couch at home). I don't know whether to count the Shiny Bronzor I got at 6:09, 9 minutes after the tour ended

Don't worry I am expect Origin Palkia and Dialga will be first ever return to tier 5 raid during Pokemon Festival 2024 but the signature charge attack Roar of Time and Spatial Rend are not guarantee obtained after both Pokemon caught after raid regardless which version player choose prior to Sinnoh Tour.
I didn’t hatch any shinies, 1 hundo, and 1 shiny from raids the whole event! The rng felt off for this event but I still had fun playing with the community! ❤
i got a shiny level 1 uxie in the last 5 minutes of the event the IVs are 15/13/14. i'm quite happy with it, but the overall shiny rates where really low. hunting for 2/3 hours just to get one or two shinys
I got 23 in total across both days with 6 legendaries including shiny giritina which took 57 raids, a wild shiny mesprit, a shiny azelf from the timed snapshot research, and an altered dialga and 2 origin palkias with one of them having spacial rend
Do we know if holding on to the Giovanni battle for until after sinnoh tour will have him give another kyogre or if it’s fixed to always give regigigas?
Got 7 shinys over the 2 days, and when I say I grinded this tour. I grinded lol was out walking round from start to finish both days. And go plusing when at work 😂
My day 1 was very successful. Not many shinies but some good ones. Got the shiny spiritomb, a shiny origin Dialga, shiny origin Palkia, and a hundo origin Palkia.

33 Shinies for me on Day 1. Highlights include getting all the Pikachu except the Akaris kerchief one, 3 Stunky, 3 Uxie, and a Mesprit. Really want the Azelf today, but won't be too upset if I don't get seeing how I got the other 2 that are Region locked.
Got a Shundo Azelf from the research today! Possibly my rarest pokémon! Also got shiny Palkia and Dialga origin forms during the event by doing just one raid for each + some other shinies and hundos! Never had a lucky spell quite like this before 😁
Didnt seem like anything was boosted at all except for the hisui forms, 10 km eggs, Basculin and the Pikas. Got 3 shinies outside of any of the boosted ones.
I like to see how the other side lives when it comes to shinies. I got 1 the first day, and only 5 the second. I blame it on the rural. Makes me not like these events when every raid is a remote as well.
JT, I view myself as a hardcore player, and this event was really rough. I only was able to get 10 shinies and 1 hundo from Friday to Sunday. I purchased my global ticket and have no idea why my luck was so bad. I spent all day throwing balls just for everything to break out. This event made me feel miserable. I understand rng but 10 shinies with 2 being the raid legendaries and 3 pikachus. I don’t know man.
i got 3 hundo's and about 25 shinies. 2 hatched from 10 k which were the carnivine and chatot. the hundo's were the honchcrow, shieldon and a pachirisu. and my fave shiny of the event was a unown N. hope you guys got some of that JT luck.

Typing this reaction while watching. Just need to vent a tad, don't mind me. GO Tour Sinnoh went both amazingly good and amazingly bad at the same time for me. Got all 3 of the Shiny Lake Guardians yesterday, and some good Shiny spawns. Day 1 was actually amazing. Day 2 on the other hand went absolutely artrocious. Not a single Shiny Lake Guardian nor much new Shiny mons. But the most disgusting thing about all of it is that I didn't get a single Shiny out of the raids. No Palkia, no Dialga, no Giratina, none Origin. I know it's all RNG, but having done around 45 raids with no Shinies doesn't feel right. The group (8 people) I went with only got like 6 Shinies out of all of these raids as well. Just saying that it feels like the Shiny rates were not right for the raids. The eggs, too, just feel like they didn't put any shinies in. Got 1 Chatot from a 10KM and a Mime Jr. from a 2, but that's all in 250 eggs, including many 2KMs before the Tour. I'm ashamed of Niantic and very sad for the money I spent on this... (I don't wanna call it this, but I have no other words then this) nonsense... Thanks to be able to vent in here. Love your work, JT, and congrats on all your Shiny goodness.
Despite not getting a ton of shinys my Sinnoh tour global day 1 went good I ended my day with 2 shinys, 2 purified hundos I didn't know would be hundos when I purified them I don't check IVS that much, a few origin form Palkia and altered form Giratina I'm still hunting for origin form Dialga with Roar of Time but probably will change my mind about that and just focus on spawns
Drove around chasing the lake trio spawns in my car on two accounts. ZERO shinies on over 40 checks each. I swear this game turns down shiny rates based on which one the mic hears you want the most. 😂

yes, white-stripe basculin evolve in different color depend on gender, so yes you will need both gender for your collection

The only thing I got from this event was a 100% Azelf from the wild...never got any other shinies or any hundos of any pokemon

I found a shiny mesprit but I all I had was regular pokeballs and no berries and it took about 50 pokeballs to catch.

That Lickitung at the end is unfortunately not good for PVP, Lickitung does require some attack in order to reach 1500 CP
