Terraria debuts on Nintendo Switch today, packed with popular features and content from the previous 1.3 PC/console update and enhanced for Nintendo Switch consoles, including:

I played Mobile, it's trash.
Got the 3DS version and it's better, except for the small random crashes and the lag when having a lot of shit going on (invasion + arena traps + minions and other stuff)
I'm definetively getting the Switch version, suits my play style better than PC (Having to get my Laptop, plug it since the batery is dead, and wait like 10 minutes before I can actually use it really killed my happy PC gamer mood), but PC is hands down the Best.

They haven't given a date, but they said mobile 1.4 was already on beta, and Dr studios (the company working on mobile and console) said that after the mobile version comes out, they'll focus completely on porting all their work into console. I think Chippy has a great video about this, look it up

Ok, even though there are a lot of memes about how mobile is still waiting I just want to remind everyone that pipeworks, which made terraria for the switch, is in charge of catching up the updates for PS4 and Xbox, too.
However, a different group called DR studios is and has been working hard to deliver mobile 1.3, and what they’ve got done so far looks great. J Martin. It is worth it when you use the three brain cells that you have. It’s ported, which isn’t cheap to do and it’s completely portable. Not to mention it came out with the ”1.3” update instantly.

The Switch has been regarded as one of the easier consoles to port to as well, from actual developer comments. Doesn't mean it is easy, but it's relatively easy. You're fanboy'ing over the defense that porting costs money, but you've got no clue that it might cost more or less to port it this time around compared to other times.
