There's a tv show made by Disney called Miraculous and one of the powers is Sublimation, which can give you any power, meaning that you can get omega level IQ or other powers.

You missed the objectively best power - causality manipulation, the ability to alter how cause and effect behaves. It doesn't make you like a god, it DOES make you a god. You can change the outcome of ANYTHING to ANYTHING - for example, you can set the effect "when I snap my fingers, the effect isn't the creation of sound, but rather the removal of a certain individual from the timeline" or "when I clap my hands, I will instantly teleport to a location that I want to go" or "if something toxic enters my body, I will become immune to it and gain super strength". It's literally possible to do ANYTHING. It's even better than direct reality manipulation - between a reality warper and a causality manipulator, the causality manipulator wins every time, because whenever the reality warper tries to alter reality, the causality manipulator simply changes their how their alteration resolves.
I've always had an idea for a concept manipulator. Everything is a concept, so you can change ANYTHING. Want 2+2 to equal 5? Why not change math into a butterfly while you're at it? While a concept manipulator can alter facts of reality, a causality manipulator can alter what CAUSED the facts to become facts in the first place. They're both incredibly powerful abilities that can theoretically one-shot the other, so it comes down to who can strike first, and the answer to that is, by the very nature of cause and effect, the causality manipulator.
My choice would be reality warping. This is pretty awesome and played out in the WandaVision show on Disney. This power is shown to have limitations(like the further boundaries of the town) but arguably, like psychic powers it just isn’t used to its full potential. That is often because characters gifted with such power are often “nerfed” by something, usually insanity, like Scarlet Witch or Mad Jim Jaspers. Or they are passive and choose not to use their powers(I know there’s an example for this one, I’ve forgotten her name). But reality warping, used in a controlled fashion by a disciplined mind, could be incredible. Fights could be won by altering the circumstances, robbing enemies of powers or weapons or trapping them in impossible prison cells capable of holding them. We see this in Dr Strange 2, as Wanda uses her powers to defeat countless powerful opponents including Black Bolt and Charles Xavier. But if you wanted to go subtle(and evil) you could insert yourself into a wealthy family and gradually take over everything until you’ve inherited their wealth. You could even give yourself a stunningly handsome appearance to make dating much easier(yes, I did say evil). Anyway, cleverly applied, the possibilities are endless.
Another thing about super intelligence, given that you're basically smarter than everyone, you can just outsmart your opponents and can come up with many strategies and plans to have things go your way and come out successful. So basically, you would be unstoppable at chess because you already know EVERY SINGLE MOVE AND PLAN your opponent will make, same thing goes for when in a war, as you won't have any casualties in the field and would probably win the war by day 1 since you know the best way for it to end.
I feel like Adaptation is an incredibly broken ability I'd wanna have. Like this power gets insane. Don't even get me started on Adaptative Replication cause that just increases how wild it is

But while evil Amazo had every power I don't think he had omnipotence like The Presence. If he did he could have just snapped his fingers and made his will reality. I know most of you wouldn’t consider “Cartoon Physics aka Toon Force” but imo I see it as a nearly omnipotent power that basically lets you break the laws of physics or rewrite the physics your own way.
Could you imagine how devastating a person with the ability to make the laws of physics exactly like ours would be for every superhero? He would just have to step into the DC multiverse while flash is running, and then boom, the speed force dies, flash dies, superman falls out of the sky or explodes, Batman’s arms get ripped off, or his grapple gun explodes.
And this is why control of the fundamental forces seems more dangerous to me than matter manipulation. If you control the laws of the matter and energy you control what is possible, where and when.
The only difficulty with omega level intelligence is that with that power you might have in smarts to come up with working ideas, but you might now have the resources to actually build the thing

Superpowers can be technically divided up into a few different categories, and the "powerful" abilities is just a ranking, also, the overall power and effectiveness, of a superpower can actually change depending on various factors. Another category is Utilitarian, and sometimes superpowers will fall into more than one category; most of the BEST superpowers usually do, but their overall ranking in each category can actually move around a bit. And the "Most Powerful Superpowers" usually is applied in the context of combat applications, which this video does as well. That all said, it could probably be fun to see a video going over the Most Useful Powers, which would look at superpowers that are more utilitarian and capable of addressing multiple situations or are very good at niche situations outside of combat but can still have some combat application, they just won't be as effective in combat as those that are better suited for combat.

For example, in one of the original Ben 10 episodes, we learn about the "Charms of Bazel," one of which is Luck, and Gwen starts using to be a superpower, after they learn that charm grants her luck powers, often at the expense of Ben's own fortune in the first few demonstrations of the power; but the thing about that Luck charm is that it draws in both good and bad luck, and so she starts having her fortune turn on her. Also, another example is shown in the graphic novel Pantheon High; in Pantheon High, we learn there is a school for demigods and demigoddesses in the US, and one of the main characters is the son of a Japanese luck goddess, and so he has insanely good luck. But thing about that character is sometimes he gets lucky in ways that later turn out to be a blessing in disguise or disguised opportunity, but at first glance still don't look all that lucky. So there are still ways that luck powers can actually seem to work against you.

I actually never thought about that sneezing situation with time travel. Any time traveler who goes to the future risks bringing a pandemic back to the present with them or vice versa. Maybe if they wore some sort of suit that covered the entire body and always had a deep cleaned before a Mission it would be be fine? A problem with intelligence is that you can't do anything without TIME and RESOURCES. You may know how to build a time machine or whatever, but can you afford the custom-made computer chips, the platinum field-coils, and so on, and are you really going to run the 500 miles of wiring and write the 8 million lines of control code yourself? So the first thing you need to do is devote your intelligence to becoming a business empire. That will occupy all your time, as you keep blowing your profits on mad-scientist projects, and bribing governments to not kill you for disrupting the Illuminati apple-cart. When you finally get your awesome project built, now you're old and you die... having spent your whole life in corporate board meetings.
This is why a superintelligent being kind of only works in the modern world where you can automate away the corporate board meetings to AI. Invulnerability and or immortality mean you be winning the long game easier.

Its like matter manipulation except it does not have to obey the laws of the universe, so instead of turning water into gold you can just create gold out of nothing. Its only limitation is scope (what the writer wants) some characters are universal and some are beyond multi-versal
Several lower level abilities if you studied them long enough should get you pretty close to the omnis I feel like…I’m just not smart enough to know how.
To have all the powers just be omnipotent. You can be like dr. Manhattan or God. That will solve it all. You know right from wrong you have premonitions etc. You cant beat that

Now I will say while time travel can be a risky aspect of time manipulation you can use it in other ways. For example slowing down or speeding up certain points or areas, making time loop prisons or a prison where whenever someone movies decade go by and they get older, you could rewind or fast forward the age of anyone and everything making yourself younger forever or making it so anyone who attacks one is too old to do anything or age them to dust, he could also manipulate time around you to make your attacks more powerful such as freezing a spot in time and attacking it very fast all those sped up attacks who hit all at once, once you let time move normal again. Hell even some of the forces in DC like the speed force and still forces sre just different ways of manipulating time in some ways so you could use those powers too. And by setting up a sort of rewind effect on your body you can make it so that any injury you get your body rewinds it so that injury never happened. These are some examples of time manipulation I could think of and how it could be a very useful power.

I think reality warping supercedes energy absorption, matter manipulation, and psychic abilities. For the first two, they only allow you access to what energy or matter is available, and are thus finite, while reality warping allows for the creation of something from nothing, turning the finite into the infinite. As for psychic powers, to borrow your example, why use a psychic suggestion that some could shrug off after an indeterminate amount of time to make their thoughs align with mine when I can literally and permanently change reality to make their views align with mine.
Fair point, I'd imagine such ability would have a huge tax on ones mind and energy/power levels. Energy can be generated and even converted to matter - if the characters is also equiped with energy generation a# opposed to just absorption and Manipulation
Plot Convenience power is better then Luck. User's presence forces unlikely things to take place because the story/situation calls for it. This causes the world to shape itself for the convenience of the user. Where Luck user is gifted with an automatic and continuous supply of good luck, where you have no control over this power as things considered "lucky" randomly and unexpectedly happens. I rather choose the what occurs.
I think the power would work based on what you consider lucky. For example, a gay man may consider being in a gay orgy "being lucky", while you will probably want an orgy of the opposite sex, or to meet your soul mate and live happily ever after. Different strokes for different folks.

It's basically a simpler version of Mind Domination but more often than not they don't use it because the effects would only be temporary but if you can subtly push them in the right direction and let their own minds do the rest that's manipulation that will last. My ideal superpower would be Kamui from Naruto. You can teleport anywhere, pass through objects like walls, and you have access to your own pocket dimensional where you can store things or go to yourself if you got a bad day 🎉
I feel like if you actually had this there’s an insane potential for it? Like what if you can teleport new matter in some pocket dimension and then compress it down into a black hole? You could make spaceships, horrifying nuclear weapons, create limitless power sources…it’d be crazy. Or what if you took a thing and reduced its density? Basically teleport something into said pocket dimension and then when you go into the pocket dimension you now have ant-man esq powers because you reduced the density of said object you absorbed.

4:03 don’t get me wrong, people working together to achieve a common goal is a beautiful thing… but if that was caused because of mind control that would be quite horrific. After all, what person gets to be the person that decides what is “good” for the human race? What if that person has a twisted worldview? What if the moment the main control wears off everyone goes back to trying to kill each other? And even if it works out completely, I’d say it’s kind of morally questionable to force rip someone’s free will away and essentially act as slaves. Honestly, with all that said, that would make a great movie. Imagine, leaving the audience with the question of is doing one horrific thing worth a perfect world? Is one giant, active suffering worth a world without any more? Does the results justify the means? That would be a great superhero horror film

Plenty of people are deciding what’s good. I’d say having the ability to control others and not doing the right thing would be just as evil…imagine being able to stop the Holocaust and saying “no mind control is unethical”. The real problem is the stress such an ability would give you constantly. You’d drop dead fighting yourself over when to use it or not use it…and if you could read other people’s minds, you’d be permanently scarred from all the hentai. You’d be in a psych ward within a day.

Mine is a little bit less broken than matter manipulation but same concept which is being able to change anything from liquid to gas gas to solid solid to plasma it couldn't be used for much other than destruction but I'm writing a small book with basically an undefeatable villain that has this power
One really messed up thing that I wrote is when the villain was backstabbed by his allies he took they're leader and tortured him by turning one of his kidneys into plasma and let it burn through him causing excruciating pain eventually leading to death
The power to be able to change my power at well so for instance I could say teleportation and then once I teleport in front of someone I can say superstrength and punch them in the sky yes I want to be a vigilante like Batman
My super power would be the ability for both my body and my mind to adapt to anything and become stronger. After you break a bone it will take weeks to heal and months to rehabilitate and even after that your bone will be weaker than it was originally. My super power idea would be the reverse of that. After I break a bone not only would it heal faster but also get stronger afterward. And I would also be able to adapt to become immune to any damage or disease I get exposed to.

I know most of you wouldn’t consider “Cartoon Physics aka Toon Force” but imo I see it as a nearly omnipotent power that basically lets you break the laws of physics or rewrite the physics your own way.

Could you imagine how devastating a person with the ability to make the laws of physics exactly like ours would be for every superhero? He would just have to step into the DC multiverse while flash is running, and then boom, the speed force dies, flash dies, superman falls out of the sky or explodes, Batman’s arms get ripped off, or his grapple gun explodes.
And this is why control of the fundamental forces seems more dangerous to me than matter manipulation. If you control the laws of the matter and energy you control what is possible, where and when.
The only difficulty with omega level intelligence is that with that power you might have in smarts to come up with working ideas, but you might now have the resources to actually build the thing

Superpowers can be technically divided up into a few different categories, and the "powerful" abilities is just a ranking, also, the overall power and effectiveness, of a superpower can actually change depending on various factors. Another category is Utilitarian, and sometimes superpowers will fall into more than one category; most of the BEST superpowers usually do, but their overall ranking in each category can actually move around a bit. And the "Most Powerful Superpowers" usually is applied in the context of combat applications, which this video does as well.
That all said, it could probably be fun to see a video going over the Most Useful Powers, which would look at superpowers that are more utilitarian and capable of addressing multiple situations or are very good at niche situations outside of combat but can still have some combat application, they just won't be as effective in combat as those that are better suited for combat.

Omniscience: awareness of everything (past, present, future. Hasn't happened, has happened. edge of the universe right down to what the carbon molecule on your fingertip is doing)
Omnipotence: ability to do anything (which would inherently mean knowing everything cause that would limit your power, which is infinite and therefore cannot be limited by any metric)
Omnipresence: existence at all places at once (would likely bring the other two together since being everywhere means you could manipulate any event however you wish, and also you would know everything since you're witnessing all of it)
Omnibenevolence: absolute and unconditional love of everything
Basically infinite power, regardless of which one you ask for, cause you'd end up with the other's since you need all or nothing. And I think omnipotence without omniscience is commonly referred to as omnikinesis, which is basically matter manipulation cause you can control anything physical or non-physical

A problem with intelligence is that you can't do anything without TIME and RESOURCES.

Its like matter manipulation except it does not have to obey the laws of the universe, so instead of turning water into gold you can just create gold out of nothing. Its only limitation is scope (what the writer wants) some characters are universal and some are beyond multi-versal

Now I will say while time travel can be a risky aspect of time manipulation you can use it in other ways. For example slowing down or speeding up certain points or areas, making time loop prisons or a prison where whenever someone movies decade go by and they get older, you could rewind or fast forward the age of anyone and everything making yourself younger forever or making it so anyone who attacks one is too old to do anything or age them to dust, he could also manipulate time around you to make your attacks more powerful such as freezing a spot in time and attacking it very fast all those sped up attacks who hit all at once, once you let time move normal again. Hell even some of the forces in DC like the speed force and still forces sre just different ways of manipulating time in some ways so you could use those powers too. And by setting up a sort of rewind effect on your body you can make it so that any injury you get your body rewinds it so that injury never happened. These are some examples of time manipulation I could think of and how it could be a very useful power.

I think reality warping supercedes energy absorption, matter manipulation, and psychic abilities. For the first two, they only allow you access to what energy or matter is available, and are thus finite, while reality warping allows for the creation of something from nothing, turning the finite into the infinite. As for psychic powers, to borrow your example, why use a psychic suggestion that some could shrug off after an indeterminate amount of time to make their thoughs align with mine when I can literally and permanently change reality to make their views align with mine.

Energy can be generated and even converted to matter - if the characters is also equiped with energy generation a# opposed to just absorption and Manipulation

Plot Convenience power is better then Luck. User's presence forces unlikely things to take place because the story/situation calls for it. This causes the world to shape itself for the convenience of the user. Where Luck user is gifted with an automatic and continuous supply of good luck, where you have no control over this power as things considered "lucky" randomly and unexpectedly happens. I rather choose the what occurs.
I think the power would work based on what you consider lucky.
For example, a gay man may consider being in a gay orgy "being lucky", while you will probably want an orgy of the opposite sex, or to meet your soul mate and live happily ever after.

4:35 This is actually an ability in Star Wars that the Sith use. It's basically a simpler version of Mind Domination but more often than not they don't use it because the effects would only be temporary but if you can subtly push them in the right direction and let their own minds do the rest that's manipulation that will last.

My ideal superpower would be Kamui from Naruto. You can teleport anywhere, pass through objects like walls, and you have access to your own pocket dimensional where you can store things or go to yourself if you got a bad day 🎉

I do see one problem with energy obsorbtion. There is only so much energy one could obsorb before it kills them as in the case of All Star Superman.
Ideally ones body would limit the amount of energy one can store up or find ways to offset it afterwards

4:03 don’t get me wrong, people working together to achieve a common goal is a beautiful thing… but if that was caused because of mind control that would be quite horrific. After all, what person gets to be the person that decides what is “good” for the human race? What if that person has a twisted worldview? What if the moment the main control wears off everyone goes back to trying to kill each other? And even if it works out completely, I’d say it’s kind of morally questionable to force rip someone’s free will away and essentially act as slaves.
Honestly, with all that said, that would make a great movie. Imagine, leaving the audience with the question of is doing one horrific thing worth a perfect world? Is one giant, active suffering worth a world without any more? Does the results justify the means?

Plenty of people are deciding what’s good. I’d say having the ability to control others and not doing the right thing would be just as evil…imagine being able to stop the Holocaust and saying “no mind control is unethical”. The real problem is the stress such an ability would give you constantly. You’d drop dead fighting yourself over when to use it or not use it…and if you could read other people’s minds, you’d be permanently scarred from all the hentai. You’d be in a psych ward within a day.

Mine is a little bit less broken than matter manipulation but same concept which is being able to change anything from liquid to gas gas to solid solid to plasma it couldn't be used for much other than destruction but I'm writing a small book with basically an undefeatable villain that has this power
One really messed up thing that I wrote is when the villain was backstabbed by his allies he took they're leader and tortured him by turning one of his kidneys into plasma and let it burn through him causing excruciating pain eventually leading to death

My super power would be the ability for both my body and my mind to adapt to anything and become stronger. After you break a bone it will take weeks to heal and months to rehabilitate and even after that your bone will be weaker than it was originally. My super power idea would be the reverse of that. After I break a bone not only would it heal faster but also get stronger afterward. And I would also be able to adapt to become immune to any damage or disease I get exposed to.
