I am stuck on the raglan increase. I've pulled this 3 times now. Please help! I am making this for my mom who is a 38 bust. I did 30 ovals, but when I get to the raglan increase I can not figure out how to make it even. I end up with two more rows of the 3 chains of 5 instead of just the one you have. What am I doing wrong?

I started with 45 foundation ovals. I wanted to have a wider shape around my neck. After round 2 i have 15 scalops (this round i inderstood). But after this one when i have to increase amd make 4 “corners” i have the feeling that it wont work
You have 12 scalops / half vans so touncan divide that with the 4 corners
Should i frog it or just continu?
Im confused because the patern said foundation rings can be more but mustbe equivalent of 3 , what i did

The stitch pattern requires a multiple of 3 foundation ovals per repeat but the raglan shape needs 4 sides and 4 corners so that changes the multiple for modifying the pattern. You would have to increase evenly around to make that kind of change.

Is there a trick to NOT twisting?
Staying slow and observant, setting your work down to double check. That’s what works for me.
@@KristinOmdahl I try to be so careful and there's always one stitch that turns . Beautiful pattern. Maybe when I have a heavier yarn I will try this again *smiles*
When can we expect part 3 of the yoke (expanding row) .. I'm stuck on that row and I've been trying to understand the charts and your pictures tutorial:) but I'm just not getting it correctly:(

do you have a video for this top that is for beginners maybe a little slower or at least go through a few more loops before you speed it up? thanks I really want to make this top but I learn visually and haven't yet learned how to read patterns. Anyway thank you for your time..
